Hosted Authors have their own individual story sites through GA. We also have have specific forums for discussing their stories. Some of our authors also post blogs through GA. Note: Comments and constructive criticism are welcomed by most authors, but harassment and threatening emails are not. Please don't harass an author to post a new chapter.

Becoming a Hosted Author

If you'd like to be a hosted author here, you need to have an established audience, whom you encourage to join and participate in our online community forums. Start by posting your original stories and poems in our eFiction archive. For more information, please see our Hosting Rules and Requirements.

GA's Hosted Authors

	Allen Smithee writes FanFiction stories in Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar and J.K. Rowlings Harry Potter world.
	Altimexis' stories typically deal with high school, coming out and falling in love. "Naptown Tales" is a series of short stories centered in a conservative Midwestern American city. "Love in a Chair" is the first novel in a three-part series dealing with gay youth with disabilities. When Aaron and Brian met, the future looked bright and full of promise until a tragic accident left one of them in a wheelchair. "Out on a Limb" continues the story with Jeff, a remarkable young man who stares death in the eye not once, but twice when faced with a hate crime, and then cancer. He is a true survivor and an inspiration.
	Bill W's Rainbow Youth Connection
	CarlHoliday's stories fall primarily into two classes: sci-fi stories of a distant future where humanity is still plagued with violent warfare and religious bigotry; and, modern stories about characters facing and overcoming significant psychological challenges. Adversity, physical or mental, is a common theme through most of the stories. There is also a endearing quality to a lot of the stories as you see young gay men grow through the troubles they endure.
	Topher writes Political Fiction and a popular Science Fiction series called the Falcon Banner. The stories appeal to a broad base of people who like stories which are lighter on sex but deeper on plot and meaning.
	Featuring a collection of C James' stories, including everything from action/adventure with a nuclear twist, to a tale of death on the senate floor (written in 2nd person) to a slightly tongue-in-cheek horror story, surfing, romance, sci-fi, etc. C James enjoys writing in many different styles, so each story is different in its own way. C James' stories are also known for their extensive background research, including some scenes that are set in foreign locations and researched via the author's love of travel, including recent visits to many of the featured overseas locations.

	Dan Kirk's stories include original science fiction and fantasy stories featuring gay and lesbian characters. Whether it is in galaxies far away, alternate realities, or urban fiction, there are numerous stories to choose from. There are also a few fanfiction stories as well as more traditional coming of age stories.

	The two stories I've authored on thus far, WORKING IT OUT (completed) and BELOVED (in progress), can be classified as "growing up gay" works, I think. The protagonist(s) are outed or come out to family and friends, sometimes moving then from questionable support or lack of support for their orientation among significant others into strong commitments which permit them to mentor other gays. Religious affiliations of the heroes and their real or adoptive families are portrayed as supportive of gays, who often seek formal recognition and blessing of their relationships in the Church.

	I write down-to-earth romances with a healthy dose of sex. No high drama, no bright lights-big city - just an exploration of the friendships and relationships that make life worth living. 	Myr writes a variety of speculative fiction from science fiction and fantasy to some Harry Potter fanfictions.

	rec's stories explore slow-building, long-term relationships and the acceptance of two people for one another. "Jake's Hand" and "Jake's Side," companion novellas tell the story of two college men, who have volunteered to tutor black kids in the South for the 1969 summer, grow more and more attracted to one another.
	They say it's the little things, and while there's nothing unassuming or inconsequential about the distinctive style or the rich and evocative descriptions that are so beautifully written, the stories unfold, as words embrace you, provoking you to expose yourself enough to grow and heal alongside his characters. GA's Promising Authors

	Kevin's stories seek to explore deep emotions and the evolution of feelings over time. He also attempts to examine complicated social, moral, and philosophical issues and concepts within the framework of entertaining literature.
	Corvus writes about people -- flawed, alienated, petty, and utterly normal people. He tries to reflect truth in his works, and hopes he doesn't end up reflecting too much of himself. His writing encompasses a wide range of themes and styles, from the classic dilemmas of high schoolers to an absurd treatment of modern gay life and to poetry both modern and classical. Corvus wants to entertain, wishes to create art, and hopes that he has managed to do something of both.
	David McLeod writes stories set both in a medieval fantasy world and in various Earth-analogues that touch that world from time to time. While admitting a debt to a youth wasted on fantasy and role-playing games, his goal is to bring fresh heroes, villains, and ordinary people into worlds different, but not so different, from our own. He began reading e-fiction in 1986 on the "bulletin boards" that presaged the internet, and started writing his own version two years ago.
	Demetz has written a number of romantic poems as well as some provocative but artistically done short stories and is presently working on his novel Webs, in which layers of intrigue unfold surrounding two young men as they find themselves dragged into a world of crime.
	Dezlboi's Stories
	"What's a little heartbreak?" Dion writes stories that reach deep within the human heart. He shows the ugly reality of idyllic hopes and dreams, shedding light on innocent misconceptions. 	Pulling from both the imagination and personal experience, Empathy writes stories of a dramatic tone. Be it a High school based story or an epic fiction; his stories favor the imaginative nature of science fiction as well as the deep struggles taking place within his characters mixed with romantic undertones. 	Formosa's Writings
	FrenchCanadian's stories talk about the trials and tribulations of young love. His work examines how young gay men come of age and find their way in the world.
	Jack Frost discovered gay stories during his long months of being unemployed and not being a student and, by reading them, it took up a lot of his free time that he wanted to kill. By summer 2006, he decided to write his own story and started making a draft of "Moving On" on a piece of paper during a break at work. By using his first story, he put some of his life experiences, interests, and a lot of fiction that he wished to happen somewhere in his short lifetime.
	J.Ross writes stories that strive to capture the raw, honest emotions that come along with being a teenager today. Stories that bring the readers back to those first kisses, loves, and experiences in a way that makes you feel like you're going through them all over again. The good, the bad, and the awkward that comes along with figuring out who you are and learning how to accept it.
	Linxe Termoil is an avid reader and writer of everything from modern-day adventures to sci-fi, fantasy, suspense, and action. Thus said, he very rarely lets his characters remain bored with anything from one day to the next, and will usually try to throw problems from the real world into the mix to see how they attempt to fix it.
	Looking at life, love and being gay through a lense of gritty realism, Menzo's short stories often feature an interplay between the past and the present with endings that reflect reality rather than idealism. Menzo also writes free verse based on personal experience and emotion, as well as occasionally writing longer stories centered around gay youth.
	If you want something a bit different then you are sure to find it here. From vampires to bondage, to rock stars with issues and a whole host of characters who jump off the page to grab you by the throat and draw you in. This is Nephy's private world where an unique mind and vivid perspective is let loose to produce stories of gay and straight love, loss and laughter set in a variety of, sometimes highly unusual situations and locations.
	Joey wants to be happy, but doesn't know how; Jon is happy to make Joey happy, but you know there's a problem. Seth looks in the mirror and notices how if he lost some weight, he'd look so much better. Brett went to prom and got a kick out of the reactions as he kissed the boy he met there. Josh is afraid that Wyatt isn't going to feel the same way, but when he does there are other things to be afraid of. Robby will probably dream of Darren long after the story ends. Razor just wants to write about them. If you're like any of these characters, or if you're interested, check it out.
	Rilbur is a relatively new author, whose work often touches on the dark corners of the human soul. A quirky sense of humor, a strange insight into the human psyche, and a terse writing style combine to create stories that have touched the heart of many readers. His writing spans from a dark fantasy to a family action sci-fi, and touches many places in-between.
	Tiger Tales range from Sci-fi to teen/young adult romance. These stories include provocative and controversial topics. Some stories are beautiful and cheerful while others are quite dark. At present, Tiger is working on the Dark Earth trilogy, a futuristic sci-fi thriller.
	WrathOfMagneto is a relatively new author, who tries to bring a steady variety to his stories. He's a comic book, sci-fi, and horror nerd at heart, and you'll find many many references to his geek-itude within. Whether you're looking for a romance story, a comedic story, an action story, a horror story, or a blend of it all, you just might find something you like inside.
