This is a truly beautiful poem about struggling through life until you find the other half of your soul. Call me a helpless romantic, but I thought it was one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read. |

A really nice, heartwarming poem it is. It's thoughtful from the very start to the end. You describe very well the painful steps that led the way to something magical!
thank you |

*dabs at eyes* I've said it once, and I'll say it again. This is a beautiful poem. Well done, moonwolf.

That's great, Jason. I was very pleased to have gotten to read it early. The idea of walls to protect your inner self is a well known one, but it's still very true. The fact that it's autobiographical in nature just increases the power of the poem. Well done!

Review by TL The Writing Tiger This is a truly beautiful poem about struggling through life until you find the other half of your soul. Call me a helpless romantic, but I thought it was one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read. I concur... I am a hopeless romantic and this poem drove the point right home... Left me with a wuzzy feeling and more so, because both the poet and his partner are very close friends of mine.... I am sure this would not have been easy to write, Jason. But you still delivered it beautifully... BeaStKid |
