A frightening little moment

I'm still buzzing with a little bit of adrenalin.

This evening at 7.15 I put my little boy to bed. Sweet, I thought, now I can peruse new stories and catch up on crits. Maybe read that new book by my bed.

My doorbell went off. Now, I HATE the doorbell going off after seven because it is extremely loud and right next to it...
