Girl friend - I was a tad torn between Bri and Lacy, but ultimately I had to go Lacy

GBF-Riley - he's so cute and loveable and I'd love to watch early morning cartoons with him.

Do we know that Riley is gay? Does Riley know that Riley is gay?

Yes and Yes.

I sort of assumed it, or at least during TLW assumed things would head that way, but I don't recall any reason that we would know he is, or know that he knows he is.

There were things in TLW about Riley that never quite seemed to get sorted out.

"And, there's always a new rumor around the corner to distract the mindless masses. I've hardly heard a thing about Aiden today. Everyone's talking about the poor guy who ran out of the locker room with a hard on."

"What?" I asked incredulously.

"You didn't hear?" she shrugged, "The other day a new kid ended up in a compromising position after gym class. People are saying that he made the mistake of looking at Dennis Gordon when it happened."

I wasn't much for gossip, but this was definitely an interesting story, and suddenly, something clicked in my head.

"Reilly Chesely?" I asked.

"Yeah. I think that's his name. He's new here. Poor guy. And then I heard that he got sick this morning, some kind of panic attack."

"I know. I was there." I nodded, "but I guess now that explains why Dennis has been after him…"

"Probably." Lacy laughed, "You know, I feel so sorry for that poor boy, but, imagining the look on Dennis's face when it happened is just too funny."

I guess I could see some humor in that. I had no doubt in my mind that homosexuals terrified Dennis more than anything. I suppose that whether or not Reilly was one didn't matter in Dennis's mind. But, if what Lacy said was true, and it had really happened, I couldn't help wondering about Reilly Chesley. Either way, I felt even more sympathetic towards him than ever, because whether or not he way gay; the poor guy had technically already been outed.

"Pretty much?" I replied, "The kid got caught staring at Dennis Gordon and then ran out of gym class with…"

"I know." Aiden nodded. "That first day that I helped him he admitted that he’d been looking at Dennis. I heard the rest around school."

"You knew he was…one of us?"

"Yeah." Aiden replied, "He’s kind of obvious. I just felt…sorry for him, I guess. He’s new and he’s having a rough time, I just thought that it couldn’t hurt to be his friend…he said to thank you, by the way. For this morning."

OK, so we're fairly sure that we know he is. Still some question as to whether he knows he is, or at least if he did at the time.

"Why don’t you like Reilly?" Aiden suddenly asked. I wasn’t entirely surprised by the question.

"It’s not that I don’t like him." I insisted, "I think it’s more…we don’t really click. And it’s not just me you know, you could ask him the same thing."

"I did." Aiden said thoughtfully.

"When?" I asked, glancing over at him.

"Today. Just before you got here, actually." Aiden shrugged. "I think he’s afraid of you."

"Afraid of me?" I laughed, "That’s probably just because he knows that I know he likes you."

"Still jealous?" Aiden smirked.

"A little." I admitted, "But it didn’t really bother me because…well, I didn’t think that you liked him. Not like that."

"But?" Aiden frowned.

"But," I sighed, "After last night…it’s just that…shit. I’m sorry about that, you know?" the last thing I wanted to do was talk about my inability to form a proper erection, but I felt like I needed to say it. "I was sort of thinking that if you thought I couldn’t…then…"

"Then maybe I’d get bored and go find someone else? Like Reilly?" Aiden asked. He was definitely annoyed.

"I know it’s stupid." I agreed. "But Reilly is just so…I mean, it’s obvious that he’s completely infatuated with you. I guess I can’t really blame him, though. I can see what he likes."

BF: Luke :> cuz he's funny, handsome and a good guy. plus he's boyfriend-less at the moment so he can pretend that he's mine (that's why he won with jude - i would hate to be caught between him and quinn... or then, maybe not... *mind in the gutter*). anyway, i hope that granma alice won't mind stepping aside and will go back to her husband *shoo, shoo*)

girl friend: Lucy yup, she and ryan are totally amusing when they're bickering (hope they'll get back to being friends soon :<). thouh i'm afraid that if the guys will have to feed both of us they'll go bankrupt really fast O_o

I am eager to see how that plays out! Personally, I'm rooting for them to get together!

I think it's pretty clear from the story and hints from Dom that Lacy will end up with Chris in the end.

Now I'm wondering...with Lacy being into Chris, why is she still mad at Ryan? I assumed she was being mean to Ryan cause she still had feelings for him, but now that she's after Chris, you'd think she'd not be hostile towards Ryan anymore....

...Something tells me, being with Owen, means being with someone whose truly committed. Not just a random fling like it would've probably been with Travis...

Travis rolled his eyes. "Not Owen. He's too..."

"Too, what?"

"I don't need anyone falling in love with me," Travis replied, deciding to be blunt about it. "Not like that, anyway."

"You're sure of yourself," Dennis remarked.

Travis shot him a look. "You know what I'm talking about. Owen's the type that... loves. He wants to think it's this permanent thing that's supposed to make your life better, and then he wants to stick with it, like nothing else matters because he thinks that's what people are supposed to do."

"And you don't?"

"Of course not. Love is... temporary. In the moment. This silly little emotion that just happens. Kinda like laughing. People fall in love all the time, just not in the way he thinks, and when they're crazy enough to try it, it makes them stupid. Love makes people stupid."
