Who wants to bet the next we hear of Carl will be Michael's old teacher informing Micheal about some fresh agonizing torture imposed upon Carl, if not Carl's being outright killed? If they've arranged for him to be whored out every week they're going to know the first time he refuses that something went wrong, track him down, figure out it was Michael who fixed him, and probably kill him as a lesson to Micheal.

plus he's one of the most fertile writers whose works i had the pleasure to read :] he not only writes good stories, he writes them fast! i dunno how he manages to do that, we can only be glad that he does :]

about the new chapters: yay for the budding relationship with jeremy :] michael deserves someone to love and love him back for all the effort he's making to remain "michael". and that's kinda a first for him, first love in far wider aspect than it usually is for "normal" teenagers. there weren't many ppl to love in young sinclair's life before, were there?
well, i say "love" even if the protagonist himself isn't sure it is it, but oh well i can beieve he'll reach the same conclusion, can't i? :>
(especially since it was obvious he longs for someone to love)

i totally adored the scene in which brandon went to michael's room and bed to comfort him and make him feel less lonely ^^= it shows that the bond is sth more than a simple master-slave chain and a fuel pomp for michael.

Michael has "saved" Carl once. Let's hope he can do it again, if necessary.

Ok, so you're going with Dan's history on this one. Mind you, if there's one thing that authors don't like, it's being predictable.

So this is possible, I agree. The dark mages dearly want 'Worthington' back in the fold. He's going to be the first 'adept' in a long time. They don't want him on the "light and lively" side. I'm not convinced, though, that killing Carl will serve that purpose. Also, Michael has shields or something installed in Carl's mind now. My last thought would be Carl deserves a break here. I see Carl staying in the story somehow...maybe sacrificing his life for Michael in some dark moment.

When Jeremy said that his 3 younger brothers would be ringside taking notes if he and Michael went at it, I totally lost it.

I enjoy Michael picking and choosing between light and dark. He definitely intends to walk the line. He comes across as a gunslinger with a conscience.

Me? Notoriously cruel? No, I'm not. Just ask my nephew. He'll tell you what a great guy I am. I must say though, that I'm enjoying re-reading this story as I get the chapters ready for their next posting. I'd forgotten about Jeremy's comments regarding his younger brothers taking notes.
