Hi all,

In the chapter 2 thread Steve (wildone) speculates that perhaps the title of the story referred to one of the new friends Grady was making in this chapter.

I had always assumed that the story would go something like Brennan and Grady grow up together, experiment, discover they're gay, have a relationship, break up, lose touch, and later reconnect. Thus it would likely refer to Grady seeing Brennan again. However, the last chapter strongly indicates that it may really be David or even Connor that Grady will later "see again" in the future. Then of course there's always the possibility that perhaps the title refers to a character not yet a part of the exposition. Finally there's also the possibility that it refers to some combination of these, or to none of these things at all.

I'm going to stick with my initial gut feeling and guess that it refers to Grady later seeing Brennan. HOWEVER, I actually kinda think I'm wrong that it's either him later seeing David, or it's a combination of these people.

SO what do you all think? And why?

Those are some tough choices to choose from so I chose to go with it has a duel meaning. With so few chapters at the moment, it's not easy to say.

Just to throw something else into the mix here ... could it be a song title??? tongue.gif

And no, it's not an Elton John song ... cool.gif

It's only chapter 2 and I haven't a clue.

Could be a song title. How about the Stevie Nicks song recorded by Fleetwood Mac? When I See You Again Definitely not Elton John.
TalonRider
Speaking of Elton. In the other story, every time one of his songs was mentioned, the radio station I listen to on the way home from from work, would play one of his song.

Not sure if it's the Stevie Nicks song, but here are those lyrics:

When I See You Again

Artist: Fleetwood Mac
Song: When I See You Again
Album: Tango In The Night

Written by Stevie Nicks.

When I see you again
Will it be the same
When I see you again
Will it be over
When I see you again
Will your great eyes still say

What's the matter, baby
What's the matter, baby
What's the matter, baby, baby, baby
What's the matter, baby
What's the matter, baby
What's the matter, baby, baby

So she walks slowly down the hall
There are many doors in the hallway
And she stares at the stairs
Ooh there are many things to stare at these days
If she sees him again
Will your very best friend
Will your very best friend
Oh, have been replaced by some other

What's the matter, baby
What's the matter, baby
What's the matter, baby, baby, baby
What's the matter, baby
What's the matter, baby
What's the matter, baby, baby

And the dream says I want you
And the dream is gone
So she stays up night on end
Well at least there is a dream left

If I see you again
Will it be over
If I see you again
Will it be the same
If I see you again
Will it be over
Again and again
Over and over

If its a reference to that song then i'd say that its definitely Grady meeting up with Brennan in the future not David or Connor or whatever...

WOW! Those do sound powerful! I wish I could hear the song, but I couldn't find it available anywhere online sad.gif

Personally though, I would think that just because it might be a song title doesn't preclude it from also being a reference. Indeed, I think the fact that it's a song title would make that more likely.

Thanks, Mike! biggrin.gif

I'll check these out!

It's interesting to note that no one thinks the the title refers to a time in the future when Grady sees Connor again! I'm surprised, because it seemed to me based on the last chapter that he was going to be a fairly big part of the story.

What do you guys think? Will Connor be an important character? Or is he just a random person LB created to give Grady some "experience" and perhaps make Brennan jealous?

Oh, c'mon, since when have I ever created a "random" character! tongue.gif

One other thing ... was Brennan jealous about the kiss? Wasn't he the one who pressured Grady to play 'truth or dare'?

Aww wub.gif I just got this nice image of one of your characters being all sad and down and feeling as if there were no purpose in his life and another character putting his arms around him and saying, "Don't worry Little Buddha created you for a reason!" It's like you're their God cap.gif

I don't think he was jealous about this kiss, but I think if things progress he'll get jealous.

What do ya'll think? Is Little Buddha a benevolent deity with a master plan, or is he out to wreck havoc on the world of his creations? cap.gif

Well, it's not for nothing that LB has started up with Grady and Brennan. There must be something between these two.

But it can be of philosophical perspective too. Like.... When I see you again...in a different light. Does it sound ok? tongue.gif

But I hope that we see more of Connor and David! Please, LB!
