Another great chapter. Everyone begins to sort things out and a new normality is in sight for all the relationships affected by Jamie's sacrifice. More action is likely after lunch.

Back to the mine, hmmm.... something significant always seems to happen there...

The mine does seem to be significant... And incidentally, in that area, there are many abandoned or inactive mies (and some active ones), of all ages. Some might be abandoned for a hundred and fifty years, while some are more modern, abandoned just decades ago. I'm guessing this one is one of the more recent ones, due to the mention of plastic.

Good grief, can't they let Worthington feel sorry for what happened to Jamie? It seems like a natural reaction to me. If a good friend of mine pushed me out of the way from an oncoming bus and ended up losing the use of his legs, I would feel real lousy about it. Grateful, yes, but lousy too. How do you pay someone back for your life? Essentially, you can't.

So everyone's saying Jamie made the right choice. Why? Because he prevented the 'birth' of a powerful dark mage? Or because he saved his brother out of love for him? I noticed that we didn't hear specifically from Stacy in that chapter. I'm wondering where she's at exactly? Any lingering resentment?

So Jamie's about to spread his seed all over the place! Apparently, that's a natural reaction. I guess I have this fear that Jamie will get carried away with his new freedom and....I just don't know. Could he be attracted to the dark side now?

I can't wait for the mine scene in the next chapter! There will be a mine scene, right, Dan?

Wow nice chapter. Might be just my imagination (and it probably is) but there are certain comments in the last chapter that made me think "threesome!!!" xD I mean of course Worthington would still love Jeremy, but now him and Jamie have something almost similar...though that would probably make it incest. lol

They are half brothers. Would that make it semi-incestuous?

I'm afraid the horse is already out of that barn.

at least there'll be no risk of conceiving inbred kids

This story is the best you have written. I await each new chapter eagerly. I am glad this a a three part story, lots to look forward to.
