Great chapter, Nick! worshippy.gif

Ok, so Dennis' ass is hanging out of his pants at this point. sad.gif Not looking good at all, if what Peter had to say had any truth to it. Dennis could be a scapegoat if the situation becomes public.

So Peter is claiming that his "dishonesty" was done in the best interests of the company. That's obviously very plausible. Dennis is being asked to be a "team player" and swallow his ethics. The thought that he won't be able to get any kind of job in the financial world must be quite disheartening. He could also end up in jail if he gets framed.

What a dilema. sad.gif

He really does need to talk to Gerald about all this, because right now he's facing it alone. Through all of this this, Dennis seems to be growing immensely on a personal level as a result of his relationship with Gerald. wub.gif

Wow! Talk about some plot! And the way the relationship, the Parade and the financial adventures are woven, this is quite an achievement. I like the way Dennis speaks his mind at the beginning of the chapter, as he did in the previous one. It's like a new story starts with each chapter. And I won't say it too loud so you don't attract too much attention, but there are cliff-hangers at the end of each chapter.

Notice how the Master of Misdirection strikes again. He starts us out at the parade, the switches us to the story at hand.

I agree, he does need to talk to Gerald about this. I'm sure Gerald has heard the rumors at work and is wondering what is going on, but because of his relationship with Dennis is afraid to approach the subject with him.

I'm also wondering how high into Corporate this goes.

Yes, please keep that part on the low...I don't want to get a reputation. I hear that once you get one, you get nasty threads started about how evil you are

Depending on how he approaches it, though, that might be right up his alley....er, I mean. Well, you know.

I'm also wondering how high into Corporate this goes.

Well, that depends on how many floors there are at the corporate office. If it's only a single story building, probably only to the first floor. Then, if there are more floors, just use the same number. Also, it depends on how many feet into the air the building goes. It might seem like a one story building, but if there's an attic, I think we'd have to include that too. ph34r.gif ph34r.gif ph34r.gif

I know you can only hide so much from those that love you, so I can see that it would be hard to not be able to talk about it.

This may get ugly.
