The world sets in to watch us like a television set.
Some mourn and other praise.

Why am I here? How do I escape?
I can see it, a door.
Should I run?

The doors lock and now we wait.
A populous of 20 closes in and attacks.
“The boy can run no farther,” they say.

Why, why why why
Let loose the restraints and charge into the undefined pitch.
A hopeless entry is none other than a ghost to the young.

He jumps and lands on the moon for none other than him could dream so high.
“From a great height this view seems better,” the child said.

Now he sits upon his moon, staring back at us like a monster from above.
But naught is wrong through the eyes of a boy, a lad of torment and hope.
The mind is a powerful trickster with many games and loaded dice.
Maybe if we kept it inside these ticks and leeches would all leave us alone.

i think i get what your trying to say, something along the lines of this world is just killing the dreamers simply for being dreamers. Bravo

Escapist! Just like me! I know how it feels like man. Sometimes I just want to get on a spaceship and go to the moon or preferably somewhere farther away, like Alpha Centauri, lol

hahaha, it bothers me that there are people ont his planet not wanting to sit upon a frozen horizon of frozen methane or an asteroid field...or even watch stars POOF out of existence in a voluminous display of cosmic fireworks

No goals are unattainable for an individual with lofty aspirations.
