My roommate and his girlfriend went to bed two hours ago... I'm bored and the things I want to do require making a little noise or going next door to rescue my laptop from my other roommate who was supposed to send his laptop in for service three months ago...

Well, if its only a little noise...

What sucks:
taxes, death, trafic cops, meter maids, slow dial up, pot holes (you can drown in them in my area), speed bumps, whoever thinks that puting up another stop sign will make the pot holes go away, getting a lump of coal (from Santa) but no barbeque
