hum it's not the usual lovey-dovey poem you're getting now... was written bout 20 minutes and took about 10 minutes to write.. nyways comments are always welcome..


Demons of the past
Haunting my dreams
Awakening my slumber
No rest in a single bed

Caring friends to ease my mind
Granting me some peace
Making me laugh
If only for a little while…

I return to my shadows
Fighting them
I was strong
They know me

A lover embrace
A sweet kiss
Relieving my pain
Sheltering my soul

They will return
Stronger than ever
I'll beat them and be free
Preparing for my new task

If only we could be
Bodies in harmony
For harm will not even
See a glimpse of him…

I enjoyed the poem too. I like writing about the storm clouds rolling away as well. You are a good poet, Jason.

Ditto what the Tiger wrote. One of the cool things about GA is I'm starting to read a lot more diverse things than I used to. Really getting out of what I call my comfort zone. I've never been very comfortable with poetry. I think now it's because I've never been exposed to good poetry.

It was wonderful and struck a cord within me. Wonderful imagery, and just the right length. Keep up the wonderful work. Don't ever stop fighting to be you, dear.
