DK...its a hot story..hence the term "Flames to Ice" and like Matt's stories..one usually needs to cool down after reading the chapters:)

Hey! yeahh.....sorry about that. life's been happening and now i have exams coming up and then probalby stuff thrown my way right after. but i serioulsy WILL TRY to get a new one written asap, or like....around june 13 lol. which is after my exams. I tried before but there was this frustration because i didn't kno which way i wanted the story to go. if anybody wants to help. that'd be cool. just email me.

YES! I've gotten a bit started. 2 pages! unless i decide to scrap that later...i dotn' know i've been so fickle lately. but i think that i should have a big chapter this time, hopefully. only it'll take me a long while... I'll have to write this one in day segments. but it'll be fun!

Meg...take your time..its a great story and the last chapter was where you outdid yourself with one great ending.......makes me wonder will our hero find true love with his best friend or end up in a triangle with the object of his lust or become an object of lust and love and desire from both of them and a few other hotties for some interesting build up and creating of new characters, plots and amazing fun.....any way you take it..you have created great characters with many sides to their personalities (which I feel is very realistic since I feel we all have many dimensions as humans)

You really have created a great story....I for one would rather you finish your finals (duh on my part, I know you vote for that one first and that you do well) , take some time for yourself, gather your thoughts, write as you go and ooh la la when done, we will enjoy one hotttt great chapter:)

It's a powerful chapter and very real, raw emotions that I am sure many of us, myself included, can identify with, in wanting love, family and feelings of self worth! It brings tears to my eyes and has given me much food for thought! I loved at the end that David said that he wants what D wants...(notice that D said he wanted a husband). You left us with a cliffhanger to make us wonder is David Gay or Straight! Kinda makes me chuckle and smile but the way he spoons and is so loving and appears to really love D and the way he looks at D makes me hope that he is Gay.

I hope you keep writing because its a very powerful story and to me, IMHO, an ageless one and not just coming of age. My thoughts for saying that is I feel we all worry about self worth issues ("am I worthy and good enough" and want love, family, happiness and the struggles and pains we all feel and that sometimes the loneliness is as you said a low level drip drip daily kind of thing we can get through and sometimes the Joy and Happiness appear fleeting and then when we have them wondering if it will last and do we deserve it while we have it) Its a powerful theme and I can't wait to read more. Thank you for sharing it with us and it is well worth the wait and well worth the read. It sits in my mind and in my heart in a big way. Thank you again for a powerful, amazing chapter and great story...it even had humor in the baseball bat scene and the cute kitten.....Damian and David, IMHO, acted like and looked like happy in love husbands...that makes me smile to no end!

How did you get so much wisdom and insight and so much power in one chapter? WOW!!

Chapter five was amazing. I'm not sure how I missed that it had been posted on nifty, but I discovered this when I started my investigation into the missing authors.

You did a great job expressing Damien's feelings and I can relate to them so well. Self worth is something I have always struggled with. Although, I am much better than I was at that age I still have moments of self loathing.

You are wise beyond your years and I can see a bright future for you as a writer if that’s what you choose to pursue. Enjoy your summer. I hope you have fun and maybe we will see a few more chapters before the summer ends.

Hey everyone,

I'm happy you liked (i haven't gotten any hated it e-mails for this chapter, so i'm responding to the liked it emails) this chapter. I was a bit worried people wouldn't like it or that they might find it too intense or anything, but I don't feel like writing a fullout lighthearted story--life isn't lighthearted. I found it kind of hard to try and write some parts (i'm used to ranting in my head, not on paper lol) but ppl liked it so i'm . As for more chapters this summer...lol i would LOVE to believe that will happen, but sometimes i want to write sometimes i want to write and am busy and most of the time...i'd rather read stuff than write. but feedback always makes me feel like, i should right more now. and ps Mag thx for the uni stuff. i still feel stressed but i think the stress is coming from like...other areas too. some serious, some stupid like --> i have NOT learned how to drive and cannot take my G2 (like...license...lol i don't know what US ppl call it) drivers test until i do, and since it's almost been 2 years since i did the written test (about signs and practical knowledge), if i don't pass my G2 within 2 years of passing my G1...well.....I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. at least i'm taking the subway often, helping to not put as much poison in the air (or so i'd like to think). but yes! Hopefully I'd like to write more. lots of pieces are in my head, its getting it on paper thats hard!
