I tried submitting my story as a series, but it won't take me to where I can actually submit the story. Everytime I click "add to series," I'm told that no stories were found (no duh) and I'm just sent back to the previous menu. What gives???

series are tricky things... first, decide if you really have a "series"... like more than one chapter story in the same setting.... if you have a story with just chapters that needs to just go under "stories" groups of short stories (single chapter kinds) work out best as a "story" just label it as an anthology (poetry this way too)

Now how to make the series work...

First put your stories in as individual stories with their multiple chapters, titles, and summaries. (this is probably the step you are skipping)
THEN when you have 2 or more stories uploaded, you go add new series and create your series -- putting in the title, genre, etc -- after you click submit at the bottom you will get a page with a list of stories you have previously uploaded. Click on the ones you want to be in the series here. Click submit, then rearrange them if necessary on the next page by clicking edit.
Later you can go back and enter the series via manage your series.

Hope that helps.

Azure,

Try uploading your story as a story first. The series is a weird option that enables you to group a number of your posted stories together in a series. To make an example out of a hosted Author. DanKirk has his Do Over series, which is a series of 2 or more completed stories.

it is giving you the error return because you as of yet, have no stories posted in eFiction.

If it is a series of related short stories, you can upload first and group them after.

Hope this answers your question,

if not, feel free to PM me with any further concerns.

Steve.

Ack Lugh, we cross posted, Thanks for Helping out smile.gif

Gotcha. I did consider posting the first issue as a standalone story and going from there, and I'm glad you confirmed it. Thx! bow_arrow.gif
