grumbles

I've been reading the forums here of late and I've noticed that a lot of people are getting either chatty or snippy... they complain about getting compliments because the compliment isn't in the right thread and tell people don't compliment them in "this" thread cause that is what the review system is for. Sheesh people take a chill pill -- take your compliments and smile, say thank you, and move on.

then there are the people who cross post their crap... ok I know they are "authors with benefits" but that does not mean they get to post in more than one announcement forum... announce it in the one that it's best suited to... and go away so other people can announce crap too. sheesh....

what I do know is there is a lot of stupidity going on with some of the "new" people who think they know everything and all the old timers are hanging out in the wings either watching or saying/doing nothing.

I would say something.

I will probably get slapped again if I do.

So I will say it here and hopefully no one will notice.

But we do notice.

what is with people anyway? I mean none of the hosted authors are really posting much... if anything...

I've been in a slump for months myself... maybe it's just some weird writing bug that is going around...

and what is with all these "authors" who think that writing for 10 minutes AND NOT EDITING is a good idea of something to actually POST?

hell if I did that I would need my own server cause of all the crap I write like that.... those are EXERCISES not actual "stories".... at least have the decency to label it as such.

Oh and the porn / unedited crap that keeps getting sent over to efiction -- can there be some rules put on that to keep it from getting to be like nifty? I mean seriously... it's getting deep over there.

Ever observed a three year old on an intense sugar buzz? Best course of action is to ignore them and hope they eventually fall asleep.

do you know how hard that is here lately? I swear there are a few I just want to SMACK upside the head and take my time in jail...

it's almost worth it.

maybe if Myr started taking 2 posts away from them when the post chatty type stuff on the boads where it does not belong they will stop... especially if you have to maintain five to open most the threads....

I haven't noticed any of it ...well, I do kind of limit my time in Efiction, but that's because I caught that bug you mentioned so most of my computer time is spent trying to hunt it down and kill it(I'm thinking it's a really big bug)




Yes Vic, legos are stil around. just because you're 39 doesn't mean you can't take your inner child down the toy isle once in a while

Oh yes, I most certainly know how hard that is…my fingers hurt from sitting on them. I will admit that your idea has appeal, without that whole jail part. Horizontal strips are so not a good look for me.
