I was informed by two different people that they couldn't review the story I'd most recently uploaded ('Dismantle the Sun'). I decided to try myself. The usual review box wasn't there; I was told I had to 'log in/register' to review. I tried logging in with my email, and that got me a blank page. Then I tried logging in with my penname. That worked -- I could manage my stories, access account info, etc. However, the review box still wasn't showing up. It'd be great if someone (Joe?) could look into this.

The review box was there for me. I even left you a review as I enjoyed the chapter. So the box is showing up in firefox, I'll have to check IE still.

I'll look into it a little further corvus and see what i can dig up.

It also good to mention that the eFiction log in has changed, it used to be via email address. It is now via pen name (screen name) remember to always check the radio box that says "remember me" as well.

Checked IE7, and I'm still seeing the review box.

I did some checking, and unfortunately the only thing I can see would be concerning log in. Due to complaints of spam in the reviews, anonymous reviews have been disabled. In order to leave a review, you must be logged in. As for the review box not showing up for you corvus. all I can offer is double check that you are still logged in. eFiction has unexpectedly logged me out in the past so I'm thinking it did the same to you.

If this still isn't the case, you should see a drop down menu that reads options. If logged in review is an option you can select. If you aren't logged in the only option is "report this"

Steve, I was actually one of the people who couldn't login to leave a review... where does tech support go to get support?

I tried logging in w/ my screen name, which I'm assuming is steph291 --although I've never really used eFiction to post anything, but then again, I've never left a review before either. My password for the forums did not work, so I tried "Lost Password". I had to put in my email address and received this nasty password back. So, I was now able to login into eFiction with my email address and the new password, but of course that doesn't allow me to leave reviews. When I tried to re-login with what I thought was my pen name and the new password, I would get an error that the password doesn't match.

So, I gave up and sent corvus a PM instead.

eFiction, for all its power, has a lot of issues as well. It is possible, if you never signed in, that you have a pen name of "change me". This was due to a different error. You should be able to recover your username and password with the lost password feature.
You cna then go to the My Account settings and change your password.

If you want to change your Pen Name, you need to PM Joe.
