You'll never know how much you mean to me.
Seeing your eyes is like finding diamonds to me.
Hearing your voice is like a reminder of fate to me.
Smelling your scent is like sniffing flowers to me.
Touching your hand is like feeling silk to me.
But the way my heart feels when I'm around you,
That is love to me.
Awww, this is really really sweet. It's like an unrequited love poem, isn't it? Or is it a poem about ensuring the love you have for someone else? You know, the
most easiest word, such as love, is the hardest to define.
The use of the word "
but" in the line "but the way my heart feels when I'm around you," shifts the tension and moves to emphasize the strength and vulnerability of one's emotions that can overwhelm one's senses. Love is something you
feel in your heart, not something you see, hear, smell, or touch. It's something abstract.
The last line, "that is love to me", really emphasizes and amplifies the fact that love transcends everything else.
Even though this is a short poem, I think you've gotten your message across beautifully

Great job!
