Mark Arbour’s Birthday Surprise

Mark opens the birthday card he received in the mail today…


Dear Mark,

For these last couple of months, I’ve watched you become one my most loyal fans. To reward you on this special day – your birthday, I decided to give you a gift of a one day visit to the set of one of my stories. You’ll get to spend quality time with some of the characters and experience Domluka hospitality up close and personal, if you get my drift. Enjoy!

A blue mustang will be by to pick you up at 1pm.

P.S. – This is not like that fake ’preview turned intervention’ that Vic sent you on a while back, so no worries.

Mark’s face lit up with a huge smile as he re-read the letter 3 more times. “What a great Birthday this is turning out to be! I wonder which set I’ll end up on? I hope its ‘The Log Way’, but ‘Desert Dropping’ or ‘The Ordinary Us’ would be great too! Up close and personal, I hope I get to fool around with Jude and Quinn, or Owen and Aiden! Or heck, I’d even take Aaron, the little slut!”

“Shoot, 1pm that only gives me 30 minutes to get ready.”

Mark showered in no time flat and picked out some clothes to wear. He decided on a dark blue Abercrombie & Fitch muscle shirt and some khaki cargo shorts.

Mark was admiring himself in the mirror, “Hmm, for 43 years old, I’m looking pretty hot in these clothes.” He puckered up his lips and sent himself a kiss through the mirror.

At exactly 1pm, Mark heard a single car honk. He looked out the window and saw a blue mustang waiting by the street. Driving it was a plain, young looking guy.

Mark raced out the door of his house to get to the car where the driver motioned for him to go to the other side. The door opened.

“Hi there, you must be Mark. Get on in!” the young man smiled to Mark.

“Thanks for picking me up. I’m really excited about this. Who are you?” Mark asks excitedly.

“I’m Andy and by the way Happy Birthday.” The young man replied as he pulled away from the curb.

Mark tries not to show his disappointment but thinks to himself "there isn’t an Andy in TLW, TOU, or DD?". Mark’s realizes that Dom sent staff to pick him up. He was hoping that a famous character would have been the driver, but he took solace in knowing that he’d be seeing celebrities soon enough.

“Nice to meet you Andy, so which set are you taking me too?”

“That Mark is a surprise. You thirsty?”

“Yeah, I am.”

“Help yourself to a drink in my bag down there. I have Gatorade.”

“Thanks.” Mark opens up the bag and lifts out a blue bottle. “Do you want one?”

“No Thanks, I’m fine. But go ahead and have a drink. You’re going to have a long, fun day and you’ll need all the energy you can get.” Andy winks to Mark.

Mark opens up the Gatorade and takes a big gulp. “Ummm, this is good stuff!”

Andy smiles at Mark, pleased that he's drank so much.

A few minutes later, Mark yawns “Boy, I’m getting tired.”

Andy puts a hand onto Mark’s knee, “We can’t have you falling asleep when we get to the set or otherwise you’ll miss out on all the fun. Go ahead and take a nap now Mark, I’ll wake you when we get there.”

“Ok, don’t mind if I do.” Mark yawns again and gets comfortable in his seat. Within another 10 seconds he’s out like a light.

……

Mark wakes up and tries to get his bearings. He hears talking in the background. “That’s good Andy, but I hope you didn’t give him too much.” A strange voice says.

“No, he should be coming out of it soon.”

“Where am I?” Mark calls out. He realizes that he’s tied down to a bed and starts panicking.

“Ahh, it seems that sleeping beauty has awaken!” the tall man in his 30’s gives an evil smile to Mark.

“Where am I?” Mark asks again with a little fear in his voice.

“You are in Utah Mark.”

“What the F*ck am I doing in Utah? I’m supposed to be at a Domluka set, like The Log Way, The Ordinary Us, or Desert Dropping!”

“Well technically Mark, you are at a Domluka set. This is the set for Service.”

“SERVICE? Wait a f*cking minute, that wasn’t part of the deal. I haven’t even read Service and it isn’t really one of Dom’s stories!”

“Au contrer Mark. Dom is co-writing Service with ME!” The tall man said with evil in his eyes.

“Dan? Dan Kirk?”

“Excellent Mark, you’re not so dumb after all. But that smart mouth of yours...tsk, tsk. Many predicted it would be your downfall.” Dan shakes his head at Mark.

“What’s going on, and where’s Dom?”

“I sent Dom on some errands. And you get to ‘spend quality time with some of the characters and experience Domluka hospitality up close and personal’” Dan repeated word for word from the card mocking Dom’s voice. “Don’t worry Mark, we’ll be more than playing patty cake.”

“But, but…” Mark pulls at his restraints to no avail.

“Enough already! Jimmy, Andy, it’s time our Birthday ‘Boy’ gets a taste of our hospitality!” Dan calls over to the two boys who were also in the room.

“Yes Dan. We have something special planned for that ‘roaring’ mouth of his.” Andy answers while taking off his clothes.

“Happy Birthday Mark…” Jimmy smiles as he peels off his baseball pants.

…

Mark wakes up to someone gently shaking his shoulder. At the same time, he feels the soreness of his mouth and his behind.

“Mark, Mark, Are you awake?” a different voice whispers into his ear.

“Ohhh, am I sore.” Mark mumbles through a stretched out jaw.

“I’m sorry about that Mark; it looks like they went a little overboard on you.”

“Who are you?”

“It’s me Dom, Domluka.” smiles the cute and coy young man.

“Thank God you're here Dom! Untie me before Dan and his goons come back."

"Oh Mark, your special day isn't over just yet. That was just round number one." Dom smirks.

"What's happened to you Dom? And what the hell are you doing writing with that Monster!” Mark asks incredulously.

“Dan’s not so bad. He’s a pretty nice guy and he’s taught me some new things about myself. Things I never knew I had in me.” Dom says with the same evil glint in his eyes that Mark had seen earlier on Dan.

“But Dan’s EVIL!” Mark yells and pleads with Dom.

“Evil’s not such a bad thing, Mark. I know you’re not happy with my transformation and you think that Dan is a distraction, but it’s all for the best. You should get with the program.

Hey guys, Mark’s awake again and it looks like he’s ready for more fun.”

Ha, as soon as he said "Blue Mustang", I said "Oh dear, here we go."

Lmao, but anyway, where is the first Jarred story? I thought Service in Dom's section was the second, so I'm kind of curious now that we continue to wait on new TOU and DD installments

Vampire Jared is a story written exclusively by Dan Kirk (you can find Dan his stories at dkstories.gayauthors.org). Service was a collaboration between Dan Kirk and Dom where each of them alternately wrote one chapter.
