Hi everyone! Last month I re-read The Ordinary Us. It is the only story on GA I have read more than once and thus the only one of Dom's I have read more than once. Has anyone else ready any of Dom's serials more than once? If so, which ones and how many times?

I re-read The Log Way to get a better feel for the characters in In the Fish Bowl while waiting for chapter 21 to be posted. I'm still waiting. mad.gif

I don't think I'll be reading either of those again until In the Fish Bowl is complete. smile.gif

I haven't re-read any of them yet, but I probably *will* re-read Desert Dropping again - right now, it's still my favorite of Dom's completed stories. (With Trust was looking promising for that title...)

I think I've read them all a half dozen times. And The Ordinary Us is still my favorite.

Ditto.
Kurt
I have read The Oridanry Us, Desert Droppings, and what is posted of With Trust twice each.
Rhosyn Du
I've read all of them at least twice, except for Desert Dropping.
darkfoxprime
I just finished reading Desert Dropping for the second time this morning. *happysigh*

Now I am going to need to go back and reread the rest of Dom's stories.
canundra
I've read Desert Dropping twice. It's my favorite Dom story, second to what's written of ITFB.

I think I might try to reread The Lo(n)g Way, but I think I'm just gonna wait to finish ITFB before I reread that one.

i've read DD, TOU, and TLW twice, and i'm working on my second read of TOSOM...i usually don't read any novels or stories twice, as i (used to) find reading boring...but doms stories are the shit biggrin.gif
BoardRider53
I have read all of Dom's story's at least 4 times or more. I love them all smile.gif

I suggest that no one put off reading "The Log Way" until ITFB is finished. TLW is a complete story in itself. Nothing is added to it by reading ITFB, and one could argue that some good things are taken away.

So go ahead and read TLW, and forget about ITFB (until it is continued). I'm thinking of rereading TLW myself and trying to forget ITFB for the time being, and let the first story continue happily ever after until I see that ITFB is back in business.

LMFAO, because I really couldn't begin to count how many times I've read DD or TLW...

The Other Side of Me, got read twice, though. That I can count. ^___^

I've tried reading TLW, but after reading ITFB, I can't seem to start. I've gotten used to the nice Dennis in ITFB, (and I really like the nice Dennis) that I can't read about him in TLW, since he's so different.

All of them D:. When I'm stressed out or depressed, I just choose one of Dom's stories, take a day off to read it, and I'm charged by the next day.

I've reread dd, ordinary us (the most) and now im gonna go back reread the rest of long way.

I will reread when with trust, when it's started again or near when a sneak peak to a new chapter gets posted smile.gif

I think the only one I've re-read in its entirety was TLW, which I re-read before starting ITFB. But I go back and re-read favorite scenes from all of them. Am realizing I'll need to re-start ITFB from the beginning to enjoy the new chapters. tongue.gif

I'm now doing my second sweep of all the stories. I actually think it's worth it: there are little details I missed the first time through that help to solidify the worlds that are created! laugh.gif

I like going back, seeing what there was to see of him in TLW - All his scenes and the little experiences that sort of helped to shape the character he is in ITFB. Plus, Owen and Aiden are love.
Shadowm572
I read everything twice except for The Other side of me and The Ordinary Us.

Yay, got my 5 posts now.

Time to go check out the sneak peek section

Later yos

I've re-read TLW the most... I think 7 times. Then TOU, I re-read that like 3 times right after I finished it! I've re-read DD a couple times as well. Dom's stories hold up very well to extra readings I find.

Re-reading TLW and ITFB are on my list of things to do during the my holidays, since I'm excited about the new chapters of IFTB being posted. Thanks Dom! In general though, I've read most of the stories twice or so, the only exception being With Trust, which I haven't started yet.
Dr.Markus
I reread ITFB recently to catch up. Been intending to reread all of the stories soon.
J.Ross
TLW and ITFB again, just finished the latter. I needed a...refresher or something.
NaperVic
I've read every story at least twice, but what I usually do is read a particular chapter or set of chapters depending on my emotional mood.

Chapter 1 & 2 of TLW are some of my all time favourites and reading those two chapters get me to feel a certain way.

I'm currently re-reading TOU and just passed the point where Quinn punched Brad wacko.gif . One thing I had forgotten was that Quinn had fish too.

Makes sense that both Quinn & Kyle are fish people. Dogs & Cats would be too disorderly for the both of them. Fish are a nice easy, clean pet that can be contained. Just the type of pet for the OCDers. biggrin.gif
