That was such an awesome speech. It would have been great to see it live. I strongly believe that we may actually have a man of character if he is elected. Obama is definitely a much better candidate than McCain, who just wants to promote the same abhorrent policies as George Bush. I respect his military service, but he is not fit to be The President of the United States of America. We need change in the USA, and we need a president who at least believes that we deserve NOT to be discriminated against. Again, I am SO jealous.

We will work on getting some pics up later today. Robert and I were about 20 yards from the podium with a straight-shot view of Barack Obama during his speech. I think one of the biggest differences between Barack Obama and other recent candidates is that he does genuinely care. He wants a better world, a better America that cares for its least as well as it cares for its greatest. There's a new day dawning and the politics of the past are going to change.
