I liked the original series with Richard Dean Anderson. Now he was cute, especially going back to his younger days on General Hospital.

Patirck, I have to ask the same question, Are you thinking of doing a SG1 story?

I was thinking about it but trying to keep it quiet. It wouldn't be gay fanfiction I don't think but several short stories. I have seasons 1 to 7 on DVD and I haven't seen some of the forgoton plot points brought up again and I was thinking about doing some lead off after Into His Own. It would be short but it wouldn't leave the dead end that we've seen before.

Hehe, I'm tempted to do a gay fanfic with Dr. Jackson and Ben Browder's new character...

Just kidding. I've got my hands full right now. :)

You've got your hands full?

You know what I won't ask just keep those hands full.

What's that you say? Why yes I do have the most perverted mind in the world (excluding Bill Clinton... or any members of his staff).

I don't think that I could ever watch the show again if I did a gay fan fiction. It would poisen the show for me.

Well Patrick

It started with Carter's Replicator Self killing many of the system lords when she was brought in front of them by one of Baal agents , who at the time was requesting for thire suurender.

Lord Baal faces a threat even he cannot hope to survive — the Replicators. The machine race has been overpowering his ships throughout the galaxy.

Teal'c and Bratac, leading the Jaffa rebellion, are aboard a rebel mothership about to take on one of Amaterasu's motherships — one of many rebel attacks against the Goa'uld planned to occur simultaneously. Dr. Daniel Jackson and Lt. Col. Samantha Carter are aboard as observers.

A Hatak-class ship approaches. It is Amaterasu's mothership. It renders the rebel ship helpless in a matter of seconds. The rebel ship is boarded — not by Goa'uld, but by Replicators. Daniel is beamed away. Teal'c, Bratac and Carter ring to the planet below and escape through the stargate to Stargate Command, where Jacob/Selmac of the Tok'ra has already arrived and informed General Jack O'Neill of the situation: Many Goa'uld ships across the universe are now in Replicator hands. Furthermore, rebel Jaffa are re-pledging their allegiance to the Goa'uld by the thousands in the face of this new threat, the likes of which they have never encountered.

Teal'c and Bratac conceive a bold plan to regain the allegiance of the Jaffa: They will capture the sacred Temple of Dakara, the very symbol of the power the Goa'uld have over the Jaffa. If they can take it and hold it, the Jaffa will realize that the Goa'uld are false gods and rebel again. The temple is deep within Baal's territory. But with Baal so busy battling the Replicators across the galaxy, he has left only a minimal force guarding the planet: Now is the time to strike.

While Bratac and Teal'c organize the strike with the remaining rebel forces, Carter and Thor work to find a way to modify the disruptor weapon built by O'Neill with Ancient knowledge. The weapon was once effective, but Replicator Carter and, subsequently, her brethren, have since become immune to it. Carter believes that her twin has captured Daniel to probe his subconscious memories of when he was ascended, hoping to discover any extant Ancient weaponry that might pose a threat to them.

Carter's hunch is right. At that very moment, Replicator Carter probes Daniel's mind, disguised as Oma Desala.

Meanwhile, Baal appears in holographic form at Stargate Command. Unexpectedly, he asks for Jacob/Selmak's and O'Neill's help in defeating the Replicators. O'Neill refuses, hoping to keep Baal busy battling the Replicators and give Teal'c, Bratac and their forces the chance they need to conquer Dakara.

Thor and Carter successfully modify the disruptor beam and destroy a Replicator ship. But another appears and quickly adapts. Thor's ship is boarded. He warps back to Earth's orbit, transports Carter back to the SGC and then takes his ship to the far side of the universe before it is completely compromised.

Teal'c and Bratac succeed in taking Dakara. Now they must hold it. Anubis, who exists in ethereal form and has just inhabited a new human body, orders Baal to withdraw his ships fighting the Replicators and converge on Dakara.

Back on the Replicator ship, Daniel sees through Replicator Carter's disguise, but it is too late. She has learned what she needed to know: There is an Ancient weapon in the Temple of Dakara capable of destroying her and her brethren.

Baal once again appears to O'Neill and tells him some disturbing news: He, too, has learned of the Ancient weapon. Not only can it destroy the Replicators, but all life across the universe in an instant. He wants O'Neill's and Jacob/Selmak's help in destroying it and believes they will cooperate for one reason: There is one who will survive the apocalypse should the weapon be used, someone whose ethereal form makes him immune: Anubis.

Daniel's not leaving from everything I've heard. I just want a hot gay kiss scene between him and Browder. That would be cool. :)

Best lines I've heard in a while:

Sam Carter:"You know, you blow up one sun and suddenly everyone expects you to walk on water."

Jacob Carter"There, you got it."

Sam Carter "For my next trick, parting the Red Sea."

Teal'c man Teal'c is my damn hero there isn't anyone else like him.

They are all going outside for some reason I can't think right now and Teal'c had been watching the news. Teal'c get's a little confused because Jack won't let him take his staff weapon to the surface with him he says

I have seen your planet I will need it.

And my all out favorite is when he lifts up his eyebrow and says no.

I wonder if they will actually explain how Daniel got back. The way I preceived it was they were just going to leave it like that.

Any thoughts?

Daniel got back because the rest of the Ascended Ancients decided that Oma had finally paid for her bad decision in helping Anubis ascend. Oma obviously survived because she was the one who has a hankering for seeing a nude Daniel (as well as most of us).

As for the storylines left open:

Tritonan is used by rebel jaffa who do not have a symbiote. T'ealc mentions this in the season finale.

Carter's lack of use on the hand devices is simple: When the frack does she have time to learn, and why bother since they've already found several other devices that work just as well and don't need naquida in the blood?

Jack's clone is now a teenager. He's living a happy, normal life. Leave him be.

The human soldier that became a Tokra, Lt. Elliot I do believe, died in that same episode while he made a last stand against Jaffa to give SG-1 time to escape.

Harsesis Child Ascended. What does he have to do with the mortal world anymore?

Female Jaffa warriors are around, just barely off-screen.

Oh, and Thor got himself a new cloned body with no problems. Don't you think this might indicate they finally fixed their cloning problem?

Very amusing but flawed.

Oma is battleing Anubis for all eternity remember she can't defeat him.

Yes but Teal'c also mentioned that it was the key to freeing all the Jaffa from the Goul'd forever and not relying on their symbiotes.

I know he is living a normal life but still he was so cute. (I just turned 18 in dec I'm not a petifile)

I do remember him accending now I had forgotton thank you.

I know Thor has a new body but that wasn't the problem the problems was that after hundreds apoun hundreds of years of cloning themselve they had lost the abbility to.........mate and that was the pourpose of the found body.

Well that ansers some of my questions but will somebody please tell me what will happen with the rest. Even though nobody has this information.

FOR ALL of THose Who Missed Last Night's Episode.

Moebius: Part 1

The world has lost one its unsung heroes: Catherine Langford, Daniel's mentor and one of the pioneers of the Stargate program, has passed away. She has left Daniel Jackson her vast collection of archeological tomes and artifacts.

Among the items, Daniel finds an original 1889 edition of The Eye of the Sun, the only one in existence. The book details the customs and rituals observed by the ancient worshippers of the sun god Ra. More important, it contains a reproduction of a wall painting, discovered by German archeologists near Giza in 1885, that depicts a ceremony over a religious artifact, which Ra's worshippers referred to as "The Heart of Light." It is clearly a Zero Point Module — the Ancient power source that could power not only Earth's defenses, but also open a wormhole to the Pegasus Galaxy.

Satellite sweeps of the Giza plateau show no traces of the ZPM's energy signature. Whether Ra took it with him when he left Earth is unknown. The SG-1 team might not know where the ZPM is, but they know where it was: Giza, in the year 3000 B.C.E. Against Carter's better judgment, she, O'Neill, Daniel and Teal'c take the Puddle Jumper equipped with the Ancient time-travel device back to 3000 B.C.E., with O'Neill — the only one who possesses the Ancient gene required to fly the craft — at the controls.

With the Jumper landed and cloaked in ancient Egypt, the team infiltrates Ra's temple and treasure chamber and takes the ZPM. There's just one problem: A sandstorm occurs during the heist, partially burying the cloaked Jumper and rendering its outline visible. The Goa'uld discover the craft but can't operate it because they lack the Ancient gene. Regardless, they keep it under guard, preventing the SG-1 team from escaping.

With the preservation of the timeline being Carter's chief concern, she suggests that the three of them live among the people until the uprising against Ra occurs. Then, with the uprising for cover, they can fly the Jumper out — hopefully without seriously altering history. In the event that they don't make it back, Daniel proposes that they bury the ZPM, so it can be found during an archeological dig that uncovered a First Dynasty tomb near Giza a month before they made this time-journey. That way, their future selves might not have to undertake this mission at all.

Flash back to the future: Egyptologist Dr. Daniel Jackson is teaching English as a Second Language, and Dr. Samantha Carter works at the Department of Aerospace Research in Washington, D.C. — proofreading other scientists' papers. They are both surprised when they are summoned to the secret base at Cheyenne Mountain on a matter of national security.

Gen. George Hammond greets them and shows them a videotape unearthed with the ZPM during a recent dig near Giza. Daniel and Carter are flabbergasted to see themselves as part of the SG-1 team, explaining about the Stargate program and how, in some alternate timeline, they've saved the Earth several times from alien invasions through the use of the stargate. The purpose of this tape, the future Dr. Jackson explains, is to provide their counterparts with the tools they'll need to go back in time and set things right in the event the timeline has been changed, which by now is obviously the case. If, for whatever reason, the stargate has not been discovered, they will have to find it and get it up and running.

Hammond tells them that his teams haven't found the gate, but in 1934, an archeologist named Langford unearthed a tablet inscribed with hieroglyphics that no one has yet been able to translate. Daniel jumps at the chance to try. Later, after examining the tablet, he offers his translation: There was an uprising, during which Ra escaped and took the stargate with him. But there is a reference to a second gate somewhere on Earth.

Meanwhile, attempts to coax the bereaved Col. Jack O' Neill out of retirement have failed.

Carter and Daniel are now shown something new: the Jumper, found at the excavation site. Attempts to dial the stargate address (mentioned by the Daniel Jackson on the tape) using the jumper's DHD produce no effect. But Carter notices that several eruptions in Antarctica coincide with the time that the DHD was dialed and pinpoints the location of the second gate.

The Antarctic gate is excavated and brought to Cheyenne Mountain. The gate is placed in position, the Jumper is ready, but Carter and Daniel are told that they are to be left behind. In an alternate timeline, they might be part of SG-1 and universal heroes. Here, they're just brainy scientists, without military training, about to be sent back to their ordinary lives—... but Carter and Daniel might just have other ideas about what their future holds.

There is something that has been bugging me. I watched the origonal Stargate movie today and there is a big mistake. When Danile Jackson (Daved Spader) gets into the limo the old woman (can't think of her name right now) pulles out a picture and asks Daniel if it is his parents. He says "foster parents" and that's what bothers me. There was an episode in season 2 called the gamekeeper where SG-1 is hooked into some alien devices and are forced to relive tramatic and devistating events. For Jack it's a battle that went wrong and he lost men for Daniel it's the death of his parents. The process can not work on Major Carter or Teal'c due to Samantha having a symbiote at one time and Teal'c still having one.

In Daniels experience his parents speak to him as if he were a child from the age of six to probably nine. Daniel never actually says what his age was but that he was a child and his parents did speak to as if he were a child.

But here is my problem in the picture in the origonal movie of Daniel with his foster parents Daniel is no more than two years old?

How could the writers have missed such a crucial detail?

Patrick, when you've got a body of works like SG-1, believe me it's easy.

Heck, if I tried to write something set in the Mists of Fate universe, I'd have to ready through THIRTY-odd chapters to make sure I don't forget anything, and chances are I'd still miss something and create a contradiction.

It happens....

I see your point but this isn't the first time I've seen a mistake this big with Stargate. It concerns me that the writers wouldn't make notes or better notes for that matter on things like this just little facts. I do it with my writing.

They've had several continuity errors throughout the show. In the first season, Ryak is "made" into a jaffa by the use of a go'auld artifact. Later in the sixth season when T'ealc is on tritonin, he is trying to convince the amazon jaffa to use it instead of the symbiotes. The jaffa women are trying to get symbiotes for their girls that have "come of age". So are jaffa born that way, or converted? Major discontinuity error there.

Oh and in the special edition of the movie, Daniel said foster parents but in the show, daniel was raised by his grandfather. Yet another error but one that I can forgive seeing how the special edition wasn't released until after the show was sucessful.

The SG-1 Season finale was good, but the Atlantis Season Finale is even better (Battlestar blows both of them away, though).

It'll be good to see the Atlantis finale on the television screen instead of computer screen, though. I quite enjoyed it the first time around and hope to enjoy it again. Probably one of the best battle scenes from either series, beating (in my opinion), the Antarctica battle scene last season in SG-1.
