I'm thinking about getting into another story from my favorite author ( ) but don't know which one to pick. So what's your favorites guys? List all the best. :) And I only put in series because I can't fit them all and I'm looking for something grand; if there's something not up there that's great just say so. Thanks!

B) ....Actually, I would like to know which is your favorite! Too bad we can't just list them in order of preference instead of picking out just one. :(

I voted for GFD. It's one of my overall favorites. I'm also biased, because I like sci-fi. B)

You know what I find funny... I feel like I've read lots of Comsie's stuff, but when I look at this list, I've only read a few! But some of his series are way long, like GFD, which is great, because even though Comsie tends to babble a bit in his writing, he rarely ever repeats himself. So, don't expect his series to be quick reads -- excellent reads, but nice and long, too! :D

No fair! No fair! We're trying to compair apples & oranges.

My Only Escape is a socially important work that is clearly in a class by itself.

Billy Chase is a fun read.

Really No Fair !
I voted also for GFD, because it was the first story I enjoyed. Then I found Comsie's notes on his "Shack Out Back" and could understand the meaning and the importance of My Only Escape.
BTW seldom a author showed so much of himself as Comsie in his "QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS" :worship:

Gone from Daylight is by far one of the best stories I’ve read by Comicality. It’s amazing with all the twists and turns and hell, I wish I could write like that. :D

Comicality, you’re an inspiration to us wannabe authors and I give credit where credit is due. I want you to know that you’ve helped me surpass a writers block and given me an idea of how I’m going to portray the world in my story (when I get it written) yet not steal the exact details (just the enviroment lol)

Notice I asked for "favorites" plural. :P

It's alright I got the idea. I just finished Billy Chase, that was long and pretty interesting, had some really good parts and a couple boring parts. And next up, GFD, I hope it's as good as it sounds! (I'm sure it is) :]

welllll, mine would be (in no particular order):

On the Outside, Class by Himself, Gone from Daylight

I can't say I have a full-time favourite because it really depends what I feel like at the time. Right now its On the outisde, but Gone from daylight should take over that role pretty soon..hopefully lol.

I also would have voted for more than one. But, if I had to pick only one, New Kid is my favorite. :read:

SAVAGE MOON, definitely. I have to scold myself when I find I'm being obsessive about checking for updates. I like the large cast of characters in The Secret Life of Billy Chase and the wide range of emotions and flaws that make Billy realistic and completely lovable. Gone From Daylight, obviously. AND...On the Outside, because Ethan's adorable and I think it's been awhile since that story was updated and I STILL check on it from time to time.

I was originally into the high school type series and I was a bit timid about heading towards Gone from Darkness or Savage Moon. Since it's holidays now however, I was determined to get reading! Naturally Gone from Daylight is now my favourite series and I read both Gone from Daylight and Savage Moon in the space of a few days.

Personally I suggest giving every story a chance, read a few chapters before you judge. :) Hope you find one you like!

My favorite story is Billy Chase, followed by NKIS, and then Gone From Daylight.

*Blushes*
Thanks Comsie. I've actually been reading your stories since the beginning, and I'm pretty sure I e-mailed to tell you so once (I remember that you replied, anyway. :P ). Can't believe it's been almost 10 years. I can't tell you how much comfort your words have given me over the years. Thanks again.

:( *looks down and kicks dirt* how come I didn't get a special thing for my first post?? *sniffle* so unfair...this is my second now, oh well, haha. I love Comsie's stories, he's inspired me to write my own even :worship: . My fav is GFD and I'm digging Skylight now too. All the different perspectives in it are great, well, so ends my second post. Not nearly as epic as my first, haha. On a side note, everyone talking about being biased in a poll which is basically asking for their opinion, erm, which is in itself biased, right? lol, so you should be biased and be proud!! haha

Don't feel bad, Tyler, sometimes you have to wait for sunset before they can respond............ :P ......and congrat's on your first two posts! B)

I had to pick two stories in the poll... :( A Class by Himself (MORE! {please?} :D ), and Savage Moon, which I just read 6/16, (Yay! :D ) and now need more...(only took me 3 days to read all of SM in my free time) Sorry, Comsie, I'm a voracious reader after 40 years of doing it...(Read Herbert's The Butlerian Jihad in a couple days time, was sick, over 1/2 way the first 3 hours then the fever started to rise).
