I agree with Nephylims first post. I really have no reccomendations as to what could be added or what could be removed, I've never had any problems with it as is. The idea of being able to leave a review for the entire story has merit, as does the option to PM the author. I guess its whatever majority rules.

lol you scared me. I thought you ment you were getting rid of efiction.Posted Image Hmm I don't know I like it the way it is.. But the rating does confuse me. Like 8 means 5 stars. why can't it be when you click 5 it's five stars instead of three? Cause I rated one story and thought it was five stars but it wasn't exactly five it was lower://

efiction. is confusing. Or at least that was my first impression of it, and it's largely stayed that way.

I think most of all, I don't like the interface, if that's the right technical term. I don't find it very usable. But then I've got it down to just needing to click a few buttons and I get what I need. It's too challenging or awkward to try much else. Or looks untidy somehow.

I know that I would leave reviews there, or be more prompted to, if I could simply leave a review. I think at one point in the past I created a username and password there, but for the life of me I've no idea what it is. Trying to fix that or register again, as boring as it makes me sound, was too much like hard work, and I do remember being very confused at first when it was asking for a pen-name and there was no obvious explanation that it was all different and separate to the main GA site. Linking the two sounds good to me, but from what's been hinted that's not easy?

Other than that, it works in the basics which is what it's supposed to do :).

oh, the one thing that did bug me was the most recent thing. I wish that would just go on and on listing everything in chronological order of when it was last added to. that's my primary way of finding stories.

I also think an atutomatic feed thing with efiction announcements would be good. Though maybe not all authors would want their work broadcasted like that for mixed reasons (or at least feel comfortable doing it themselves), I think it probably does affect what people from the main site read.

but good luck with all the work

and don't work too hard :).

(btw, I love GA itself and how that functions :) (bar a few little bits))

I am currently in the process of writing up program specifications for replacing eFiction.
Are there any features that you think eFiction is missing that you'd want?
Are there any features of eFiction that you would absolutely miss if they were removed?

Please provide feedback by following the source link below.
Thanks!
