While it suffers in its delivery, the concept of a group of Robin Hood-esque thieves doing good deeds is a very sound one.

 

It's a shame it's been taken from the TV show Leverage. Along with the tagline, character's catchphrase and the characters themselves. Names have been changed and a few genders have been flipped but each character is easily and instantly recognisable.

 

 

Blake = Nate = The Mastermind.

 

Miranda = Sophie = The Grifter

 

Jeanette = Elliot = The Hitter

 

Darwin = Hardison = The Hacker

 

Davenport = Parker = The Thief

 

As for the final line in the story: it's not only ripped off but nonsensical out of context. Still, it sounded very cool when Nate said it in The San Lorenzo Job.
