comicfan Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 We all have someone or something that we love dearly. Tell a narrative in poetry. Who is this person or animal? Is it your ever faithful dog? Your doting parent? Your incredible partner? Bring them to life in a poem so that we can get to know them too!
SoullessCynner Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Here's my take on this prompt. We are watching a television show, Just enjoying each others company. It is nice to just sit here with her; We don't do it often enough. When a commercial comes up, I turn to look at her, smiling as I realize She's fallen asleep, her face so peaceful. I turn off the TV and whisper, "I love you, Mom." 2
JamesSavik Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 To Chris You are 5 gallons of crazy in a 2 gallon bucket, But I can't leave cuz I've already fuked it. The sex is fire that gets me higher Than I've ever been with lust and desire. But your crazy is catchin', It sure ain't fetchin', Thirty calls on my phone, I can't leave you alone, Why do you follow me? You know that it pains me! That paranoia destroys us You lie when we discuss us. Why do you treat me like a stranger You put our love in danger You make crazy with desire But you won't let us take it higher I'm sorry that its this way, But I just can not stay. We're both damaged goods and it won't work, You are nuts and I'm a jerk, To bad we didn't meet before, Your trust was stolen and My heart was broken.

Wow, that was darker than I thought anyone's would be. Love does have us do stupid things though doesn't it. Brutally honest here. Here's my take on this prompt. Sometimes it is the simplest things that allow us the greatest pleasure. Nicely done.
