So for the creative writing course I'm taking, I recently had to submit two poems as part of my mandatory coursework.

 

As many of you know, I don't do poetry. I don't really get it, I don't read it (except the occasional Dr Seuss type stuff) and I certainly don't write it.

 

But this was one of the core pieces of work, so I had no choice.

 

I've had some nice feedback from my class lecturer, so I figured I'd share them.
