I like it.    There are a few things there I think could be improved, but the story reminds me of the days I almost forgot.  So I must say you did a good job capturing the most important part of storytelling and technicality can easily improved with practice and from getting help from nice people here. 

 

Hope things get better for you.  First few years are difficult to adjust, and not able to speak the language fluently can give anyone (not just immigrants) plenty of opportunity of being exploited.  I think you're taking a good step to improve communication with this story.  Be positive, because you sound like a nice young man, so don't let your surrounding change that.  Love to hear more of your story!  It really captures the spirit of the whole immigration experience!

don't tidy it up too much though - it's important to "hear" your Polish voice. If the writing is made 100% English then it will lose the authentic feel of an immigrant's story and your distinctive perspective that makes me want to read more
