Need help finding an old story that was on nifty.org

So I must have read this story a few years ago, but I can't seem to find it anymore, even with utilizing nifty's search function.

 

The story was about 2 guys in the military in Vietnam. 1 of them if I recall correctly was later on revealed to be an elite sniper, and there were multiple scorching hot sex scenes written. Another thing I do remember is that they would usually wait at a bar for each other, staggering their visits up to the hotel room.

 

There may also have been parts of the story written where 1 of the characters has sex with female prostitutes. 

 

I know I'm really not doing this story justice with my description as I'm personally not a writer but I'm just asking to see if anyone vaguely remembers this story and could possibly find it!

Are you referring to "A marine called Jason"? Where one ends up living half the story in a coma? I've tried searching for that for a long time but can only find snipets accross the internet unfortunately.

There's no story of that name (or similar) in the military section at Nifty. I searched the page for the words Jason and marine, and none of the matches came close to the above story name.

If you google A marine called Jason, you get three different sites that have a story with that name. They are from two different authors, but perhaps one of them is what you are looking for.

Based on the description, this one looks like the one he's after. Vietnam, bar, sniper -- it's all in the first chapter

This one is also the same story, and you can access all three parts -- the one at GayDemon is only part one and there's no links to get to parts 2 and 3 (and I couldn't find it on their site using their search function).

I emailed the author of this story about a year ago when I was searching for the complete story. He goes by the name of Sebastian Couder and still writes stories that he publishes. The story of A Marine Called Jason is now known as Awakening Within and you can purchase it on Amazon. Hope this helped, I know I was glad I found this out so I could relive the story again.
