Oli Volkov is a werewolf governed by the moon, just like his father and both his grandparents once were. He is also lonely, but you know all that, we're on chapter 3 now.

Anyway, I'll celebrate by taking up my naughty little idea from chapter 3 and throw out some questions.

 

We can deduce from Oli's family that in this universe a werewolf mating with a human female will produce another werewolf. Does this only apply to sons or also to daughters ? In other words is this Y cromosome linked ?

 

If the male werewolf mated with a female wolf (a real one not a werewolf), would the offspring be wolves or werewolves ?

 

And here comes the question from the part of my brain sasha calls filthy (which it is, he, he  )

 

If a male werewolf mated with a female dog, what would the offspring be ?

 

I'm assuming the urge to mate doesn't diminish during full moon - maybe the opposite ? Would make the next chapter very interesting in relation to Oli and Buddy.

 

But even more so, would this mean a bunch of furry half siblings for Oli - or did his parents get the Alsatian spayed ?

So you're more upset about the beast part than whether this would be infidelity to Oli's mum ?

 

I think the image of Oli's dad as a wolf fucking his mum (who's human) isn't much better (or worse) than him mounting a real wolf or dog.

 

And if wolf / man sex is no go in this sashaverse, Oli will only get laid once a month. Probably several times during those three days of full moon, but still. On the other hand it's more often than he seems to get now, so...

There has been bestiality in my universes before, but there won't be any in this one. 

 

The world of A Wolf and His Man is not the same as Born Wolf or Summer Camp. Werewolves can be either gender, they can only and have to, change over the full moon. 

As to fluffy half-siblings, there are none and won't be any, but I'm not going to say such things are not possible genetically. any more would be spoilers.

I would count werewolf/woman as bestiality too. Per my understanding of this menage, there is no sex for anyone during the full moon. Satisfaction for biological urges during that period is strictly limited to killing the rabbits, for this reader. Sasha, if Buddy turns out to be a wereman who's only human during the full moon, I will be SO annoyed. Not enough to stop reading of course....

I get most of your definitions of bestiality, they seem logical.

 

Except this one:

unless you also consider normal wolf + normal wolf = bestiality

Bestiality is only partially to do with shape, it's partly to do with the responsibility one party holds for a higher level of self awareness and decision making.

A werewolf in wolf shape in this universe still has his/her human brain, and could take advantage of an ordinary dog or wolf.

if this were a more classical canon universe where a werewolf in wold shape loses his human memories and sense of self, then it would not be bestiality, because during the full moon, he would not be a werewolf, just a wolf.

If I remember correctly, I skipped bits and then got annoyed at myself and decided to just not read the next one if there was the smallest risk of knots and swellings and things. And here I am anyway. So  Don't ask me why it bothers me more than barbed demon bits.

I hope Buddy turns out to be a werewolf staying wolf either voluntarily or from being stuck. But maybe Oli would be able to sense this? If not a werewolf, I hope Buddy is a gay wolf
The worst would be if he's an inverted werewolf, who's only human during the full moon.

Oh and I guess we now know some of the reason why Oli and his dad don't get along

 

Oli hates being a werewolf and blames his dad, and since his dad thinks being a wolf is the best thing in the world, they haven't got much common ground on this issue. So I guess this is why there's been no running around together in the moon light and learning to hunt and forming wolf bonds.

 

Plus it sucks to be in so much pain every time. Hopefully Buddy's scent will help distract Oli. And the promise of lots of petting and maybe even brushing when Oli wears fur.
