I beg your pardon (sorry, couldn't resist), but isn't that exactly what you did? A rose garden is pretty to look at, but when you get close you almost always end up with scratches, pain and possible bloodshed. Not at all what you expect when trying to do a spot of gardening. Or reading a "romance" novel.

while I have an Isaac/Brian idea I still haven't figured out how to bring Copenhagen into the story. Finland is going to make an appearance though in book 4. Does that count?

Hmm... Intriguing. That would be interesting. I might be too hazy on the details, but the deal was chastity or the Meta? So a straight inner circle wolf could be celibate? Or why not go more twisted and have a straight guy with a wolf wanting to submit...?

what she said - No, Finland is no substitue for Copenhagen / Denmark - although I like the sauna idea. But I'm willing to let go of the Copenhagen demand, if I get the whole list over time.
