RIP: Phillip Hughes, Australian Test Cricketer

I know this is probably only going to be of interest to the cricket fanatics, but Phillip Hughes was pronounced dead today, two days after being hit by a bouncer in a Sheffield Shield (Australian interstate competition) match two days ago.

My thoughts go out to not only Phillip's friends and family, but also to Sean Abbott, the bowler who's ball ended Phil Hughes' life.

I don't know much about cricket I'm afraid. Poor Sean Abbot too, what a trauma for him

Horrible story. Made me feel so sick for everyone involved. I love cricket. You so don't expect this kind of thing to happen in our sport.

I read about this on MSN last night. It's horrible that this freak accident happened to him. I can't imagine how Sean Abbott feels; he'll carry this guilt around with him forever.
