In reply to your reply to my review :gikkle: :  Hmmm... A sequel featuring Razvan would be interesting.  Seeing him before/after Gretza's influence would make a great story.  :)  I am planning on re-reading the entire story at some point, as I am sure there are some subtleties that I missed and will pick up on during a second read-through.  I think this is your best story I've read so far (and I've enjoyed all of them).  The two slaves really got to me.  Especially Junayd and his quiet mysticism.  I think that he knew what their fate was and wanted to enjoy Ahmed for as long as he could.  Seeing how Ahmed changed because of the other man's influence was great, too.  You pulled so many elements together seamlessly in this story - the poetry and mysticism along with the research into the Romanian ruins and folklore.

BTW I agree with you about Jenna Jameson being perfect for Gretza (my asthma attack is over...lol).  We'll have to agree to disagree about Bieber.  I find absolutely nothing appealing about him.  lol

Well, in case you don't know it, I won't tell you what 'bassoon' is in Italian.

And PS, you guys are very low-brow. ;p

Guys, there's a misunderstanding about my last posting where I used the Jerry emoj...and talked about trailer-trash women!  When I wrote that joke there was no other post between it and AC's comment quoted above about us being low-brow....I thought that was a great time to use the Jerry Springer thing since that show is the pinnacle of low-brow entertainment here.

I was definitely not calling Puppilull the B-word because that post wasn't there when I wrote it--and I'd never do that in any case...all the people here are great, and can appreciate a joke, so I thought it would get a laugh or two, and didn't notice the intervening post until I got a pm from AC asking what I meant by doing that.

I love all you guys and am not the type to attack anybody.  I sincerely apologize to anyone who misunderstood, and will delete the post if AC wants me to!

Thanks for the explanation, CG. It would be best if we all use the 'quote' button when responding to any post, so the context is right there for everyone to see :)

I never thought about Jerry Springer...that's funny!

:jerry::heart::thankyou:

Finally--the perfect chance to use that emoji! Time to slap the fat trailer-trash bitch and throw my chair across the stage.

OHHHH, Jerry Springer (not the Opera!). Now I get it, hehe :funny:

I've had that happen to me a few times, particularly if I'm writing a longer post. And in addition you were unlucky Puppilull and your posts ended up at the top of a new page. Not to worry, the explanation solved everything. :)

Hmmm, should that be Puppilull's and your posts ? I can never work that out...

Here I go to sleep and there's a diplomatic crisis developing!

I can assure CG and all of you that I did see it s a joke and I hoped my response would show that. If anyone is to blame for starting this, it's me with my joke... I know joking online with people you don't really know can be difficul. I have a wicked an naughty sense of humour that might not suit everyone, but sometimes I just can't help myself. When I can get a word pun in, it's irresistible.

Wow, Pup, I have a younger sibling in Stockholm! Tell me you've also been accused of being sarcastic in your life, and we're all set! :)  I got that all the time in high school from teachers.

Well, in Sweden irony and sarcasm have been like the national sports for over 20 years. Weird humor is something Swedes like a lot. Monty Python for instance was/is incredibly popular. British humor in general really. So no one really reacts to it. It's almost the other way around. If you don't get jokes like that, people think you are a bit strange.

I just can't get started on Python...there is just far too much that I laughed at, both in the series and the movies! One of my very favorite sequences are the opening credits to Holy Grail...with the subtitles talking about moose, then those writers being sacked, and you get moose bits creeping into the credits themselves, and finally in desperation, a whole new style in Spanish...and it starts going on about llamas.

And other things: the snacks being sold at the arena in Life of Brian: jaguar's earlobes, otter's noses...and the soldiers making the graffiti artists correct his work, then telling him to write it out a hundred times.

The Scotsman on a horse--the tension building between cuts of him riding, and a couple getting married in a church...finally, just when it's getting unbearable, he enters the church and carries off the groom.. Then there's Sir Philip Sydney, Tudor porn merchant...'Pray read to me somewhat from Shakespeare's Gay Boys In Bondage.'...and nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!

I was so lucky that I was a teenager when they aired the show here in the US...their style of humor fit me like a glove...damn, now I have the Lumberjack Song running in my head!  I used that on a friend on our way to a college final, and neither of us could get it to stop. :)

Ha, ha! I find myself sometimes doing references that no one gets and they look at me strangely. I wrote something here in one of the threads about being able to recognise things from quite a long way away and I don't think that worked at all. I was tempted to just write "The larch... the larch", but I doubt it would have helped.

Thanks, Valkyrie! Yes, perhaps a Razvan short story, one in which we can see Lady Gretza in the process of becoming the woman we love to hate. That could be very interesting.

Thanks for your comments, for they are almost a 'story review' in and of themselves. Not a lot of people on GA seem to take advantage of the story review option, but sometimes it would be nice for an author to see a complete wrap up. Many new points may come up to help improve the work.

Funny enough, I have never seen any of Jenna Jameson's 'work' (LOL!), but I did watch her (mainly to see her awesomely handsome and sweet finance) on that silly reality TV show: Couples Therapy. She was intriguing to watch, along the lines of seeing a train wreck in super slow-mo. The way she tried to be manipulative, the delight she had in stirring up the other couples' misery, all made me imagine her face when I got writing the 'inappropriate actors' section of chapter forty. I'm so glad her inclusion made you gasp (with laughter!). I feel I did good :rofl:

Hi! My name is Puppi and I'm a BB-holic. It's been too many days without a new chapter...

I think I'm suffering from withdrawal. Apparently, I was addicted. Maybe we should turn this into a support group? I feel it's too soon to read it again already.

Hi, Puppilull. I've been trying to think of what to tell you...but...have not come up with anything yet.

Might I point you in the direction of the "Judas Tree" novellas - Tim certainly likes those! - and you might find plenty of reading material.

I might also mention a little book of mine called "Dignity." If you time it just right (reading "Judas Tree" first), you could wrap up "Dignity" in time for me to begin posting the follow up to that book. Which will be soon...

Thank you for coming. Please chip in if you can, so we can always have coffee and donuts at these meetings :)

I think you'll find that reading it again, now you know the origin and conclusion of the curse, will prove most satisfactory and interesting. I certainly enjoyed both my second and third read (as editor and then reader on GA).

However, the fate of Ahmed and Junyad will still make you cry. :,(

Yes, I think so too. It's just right now I'm still sorting through my thoughts and feelings from the first read.

If there are donuts, I will come!

Will check out the reading tips. I started on "How the heart...". Did not expect that, but I liked it. Will continue when I'm sure to have access to cold shower. LOL ;)

Ummm, I love Homie too....if you are fan, you'll know Homer Simpson is a major Supreme Court fanatic; he knows all the history and lore of the Judiciary arm of the US Government. Let's hope the upcoming marriage equality decision gives him more wonderful facts to put to memory.

Ugh, my coffee has yet to kick in this morning...sorry for this odd note, but thanks for your support. BTW, How the Heart... is part of my XXX Series, so don't think all my work is like that ;)
