Sometimes when I finish reading a chapter I'm clawing at my chair, sometimes I just feel like I need a glass of single malt.

I've been sitting on this song for a while as I hoped to find a better english translation for it. I ran into this song via Anime and looking at its meaning it really fits the White Wolf Pack. The song is called Raise Your Flag. It is about staking your claime, raising your voice and creating your place in the universe.
Here is the original music video by the band Man With A Mission which is kinda funny since they all were Wolf Heads!

This is a translated version of the song that while I don't fully agree with the translation gets the jist across.

So with the holiday season here upon us once again I got the 12 Days of Xmas stuck in my head and then Meta decided to intrude upon my holiday thinking and it kinda merged...

On the Xth Day of Meta what did Fate give to you?

• 1st - A White Wolf for a Wolf Pack
• 2nd - Two Betas metteling with their Meta
• 3rd - Three Pack Founding Wolves for bonding.
• 4th - Four Inner Circle Marines OORAH
• 5th - Five Red Shirted Enforcers growling
• 6th - Six Blond and Ginger heads
• 7th - Seven Meta Sequels to devour.
• 8th - Eight Inner Circle Wolves to torture.
• 9th - Nine Queens to irritate you
• 10th - Ten Roided Wolves to play with.
• 11th - Eleven Inner Circle Members
• 12th - Twelve will be revealed upon payment to JAR

As you can see I haven't quite finished spreading it to a full 12 Days of Meta but I like where it is right now. I feel there should be Owls in here somewhere but I haven't quite figured out where would fit them best yet.

LOL But I don't want the owls to be in the spaceship! They would totally cramp the pack's style. I could go back to one of my earlier theories and say "on Mount Olympos".

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the land,
Not a creature was stirring, neither shifter nor cat.
The stockings were hung by the chimneys with care,
In hopes that CE Clause soon would be there.

The pups were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And Meta in his scarf and woolen cap.
Had just settled his brain for short midnight nap.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
The meta woke with a start touching wondering what was the matter.
A hand pulled up his sleeve with a flash,
Moving down the cords till he find the one red as a sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,
Gave the luster of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to his eyes should suddenly appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and seven giant wolves.

With a big young driver, so lively and quick,
He knew in a moment it must be CE Clause.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came.
And he whistled, and shouted, called them by name!

"Now, Prime! now, Brian! now Leo and Sam!
On, Isaac! On, Al and Warren!

And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
Later it pulled upto a house and out came a man,
CE Clause stepped down as the Meta took the sleigh.
He gave up his coat and shifted fast a wolf,
Taking up the eigth reign they took off through the night.
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

This can be adapted to the Fate Pack by swappeing Leo and Gavin, Al and Bradley.

I also thought of a change for 3rd to perhaps 3 thousand years of Owls manipulation.

 

Hey Defiance maybe your Holiday gift for yourself should be to catch up on all things Meta. You will love and hate it as per usual for JAR's style of torture the reader writing!

So I'm trying to find something within the hundreds of posts of MetaWolf that feels like its been within the last 4 months but for some reason I'm blanking on just where it is and quick little searches of mine are failing at the moment (it is 1am after all).

 

The context of it is this. It is AFTER Lucy's and AFTER Hotel Thunder when Prime and Burt decide to be a pack and Burt is first dubbed CE. It is some communication between them after that point and while Prime is still deployed and Burt is skeptical and saying things like 'You were really serious about forming a pack with me as CE'.

 

I just can't seem to spot this again at the moment so if any of you could help point me to it it would be appreciated. If I stumble upon it before anyone else i'll say so to stop anyone else from lurking through all of MW.

 

 

UPDATE

 

And found in Proph 9. It was email communication.

It can't be Sam pre-bonded, because he was a scrawny guy, and I don't think he improved that much in three months. not without Colt roids. Hmm but did Colt fuck him before the bonding ceremony... ? There was that night with Prime in the hotel...
