"fearless" Discussion: For Those Who've Finished It.

Recommended Posts

Spoilers: Just a warning for those who decided to look at this topic despite the title who haven't yet read "Fearless". There will be spoilers here, so please read the story first if you want to participate! :)

Now that's out of the way, I created this topic simply for those who might want to talk about it. No one has to, of course, but I thought it would be in my best interest to make the topic available. :)

Some possible discussion points:

Who was your favorite character?

Who was your least favorite character?

What did you like about the story?

What didn't you like about the story?

Who do you hope the sequel will be about?

I don't have fav and non-fav characters. To me the evil Sheila is as important as Clint.  You did a good job with Sheila, not all that easy to write nasty characters well.

I'd like to see stories about all of the couples and I think maybe Sheila too. I mean you have to pity her in a way .. why is she like she is? What drives her... she must be lonely .. it would be interesting seeing what becomes of her after high school.

You know I am so not into teenage angst. I don't understand why you would want to write about that when you're forty. If you need that much therapy go and get some. But this was not angst really. It was both light hearted and serious. I found most of it pretty true to life, not over done.

I enjoyed reading it!!

Great answer on the characters. That's what i endeavor to do with all of my characters, though I don't know how often I'm successful.

I have a number of different stories planned, though I don't know how many of them will make it to paper. I want to do one for Zane, Sheila, Travis, and possibly some others. Right now, one of those three will happen next, and I think you'll all be pretty pleased about it.

I still have some teenage angst, to be honest, but I try to avoid writing stories that are nothing but.

Thank you for participating, tim!

I think I liked Travis best. I like how he developed and grew, which is always a good thing.

He'll have plenty of room for future development as well, as you'll definitely see him explored in the sequels.

I'll also point out that I intended "Fearless" to be an open world, where others can participate and write about the characters as they see fit, as long as they bounce their ideas off me first. :)

I haven't gotten any farther with that thought. I have no idea where it would go. If it develops, it might only be a short story.

Short stories are more than welcome. :)
