Comicality's Fall Anthology Story

***Possible Spoilers***

OH my gosh I loved this story! It was so awesome! LOL, I knew it was going to be good when Donnie started talking about Jesse McCartney!! HEHE:

"No bullshit! I wrote it down, I thought about it all day long, looked at the pictures, and when I went to sleep....it just happened." I giggled. "I got to have very, VERY, hot sex with Mr. Jesse McCartney....twice! Once in my own bed, and once in the shower."

I'm SO gonna try that! :boy:

LOL, but even if the story hadn't featured my all time favourite male celeb. crush I'd still have really enjoyed this story!

The whole lucid dream thing is just so fascinating! I've actually had a couple weak ones before,,,,but nothing like that!

Jeff, April, and Baxter (I guess :P ) were such cool friends! I really liked the way Jeff and Donnie interacted; it was so fun!

OH my gosh what a cliffhanger! I'm dying to see what happens next!

I've got to know what happened to Caleb! What's the deal with Austin is he somehow involved? How does Mr. Lipton play into all this? Is Chucky going to go to the party? What's up with that song? Is it Caleb crying? And perhaps most importantly is Jesse going to make a reappearance? :boy: (LOL, seriously I LOVE Com's taste in guys! Blondes are definitely my thing!)

I think this one the funniest, and perhaps most twisted, line:

"Do you wanna help me torture my teacher some more?"

So what did everyone else think?

Awesome job, Com!

Kevin

** spoliers possible **

I don't usually comment on Com's stuff, but I want to this time.

I recently started re-reading GFD, for kicks, and going back to some earlier stuff allowed me to make some observations. Something that struck me was the way Com's writing has evolved over the years; it's always been quality stuff, but there is a certain "maturity" in his current writing that really impresses me. The stuff he's putting out now is much more polished, I think.

This story is a good example, IMO. The story isn't raw like an inexpensive (but good) wine, its smooth and rounded and fat on the palate. The characters have depth, the story is multi-leveled and it pulls you in right away in a gentle way. But a lot of the anthology stories are mature in that way; this one stands out to me because it walks this very...nerve-wracking line between a sweet, feel-good story and something that could quickly degenerate into something horrifying. The whole time I was reading it, I was waiting for a literary beast to rip through the fabric of the dream-utopia and bite my head off.

So, cheers, Coms. I enjoyed "part I" quite a bit.

I loved this! I've experimented a little with lucid dreaming myself, so that alone hooked me. I loved the descriptions, and the characters! Bax was especially great ("golden-boy looks" made him especially interesting! :D )

I just loved this story, and the mix of fun, with.. something very different. Forboding?

I loved it, but I want more!

COM!! You are a right BASTARD! LOL You did it to me again! I loved this story, I can't believe it ended with a cliffhanger.

The character are great. The sub-plots are rich and I hope that you come out with part two soon.

The dreaming scenes remind me of Grand Theft Auto, but painted by Dali, or Claude Monet.

Great stuff Com.

Wow.....THANK YOU!!!

Oh wow...

((Hugz))

And yes, there will definitely be a part two! (Or I should say, 'second half', as that will complete the story) But it will definitely get posted! Unfortunately, it took me two whole weeks to rewrite a major plot element of the story and fix it with something else. Luckily it was one of those rare occassions where I thought the newer idea was better, so I'm extremely happy to hear that you liked it!

Thanks again! You guys are awesome!

I really enjoyed this story because of it's wonderful writing style, the beautiful relationships (I particularly enjoyed the interaction of Jeff and Donnie for the simple fact that you don't often get two gay guys who aren't going out in one story, hehe), and the trippy dream scenes.

I have actually attempted Lucid Dreaming on occasion, with varying degrees of success. Com certainly did his homework when he said that you can remember more from lucid dream states than normal dreaming states; I can remember to this day the exact layout of the train station in which my first lucid dream happened. But anyway, I digress. However if anyone does want to chat about lucid dreaming some more then drop me an e-mail (infinity@outofreach.co.uk).

But Com, you have excelled yourself with this story, and I can't wait for another installment, especially with that cliffhanger. But you know, I had a sneeky suspicions from the first time we met Caleb that he was dead. IMHO Caleb lived in Donnie's house before he died - Donnie has only just moved in - and is able to harness Donnie's particular susepability to lucid dreaming to make Donnie a clairvoyant of sorts... But now I'm just talking shit, I'm just guessing.

Keep it up Com, Great work as usual :)

Love,

Seems to have been a while since any replys have been posted here. I'm asshamed to admit, until Dreamlover was posted, I had not even heard of Jesse McCartney... What rock have I been hiding under.

Dreamlover; being one of my new fav's of Cosmie's work, brings up so much thought in the lucid dreaming, that I had to try it myself. Unfortunately, I'm yet to perfect flying like superman. I always become aware that I can't really fly and fall to the ground...

I can't seem to find the song that plays in the Dream. What is it? Where can I find it? I have to know the tune! Driving me crazy!!! However moving right along. Oh right the main reason as to why I am replying here...

Dreamlover2 has begun posting in the Comicality Library head on over and get yourself a good dose of Cosmie's world!!! Don't want to spoil it but can't wait to hear everyone else's p.o.v's on Dreamlover2!

Hey, I'm kinda new to all this, and by this i mean reading stories online, and i just wanted to say that your stories, comicality, are the best out of all the others i have read...one thing though! I can never wait for another chapter to all the stories i love and I know that you cant do anything about it, but it just pains me to have to wait so long for another chapter to come along! So, um...yeh, keep up the good work and i really hope you continue this story because im hooked!!!

I've just finished reading the first several chapters so far, myself. and It's another cosmie classic.

I'm glad to see others commenting on this strory too, as it doesn't seem to get mentioned as much as some of the others, but so far in my opinion, it's just as good as them :2thumbs:
