About Me

I like to read. My location or activity doesn't hinder my reading. Whether I'm working in the yard or around the house, standing in line, waiting in a doctor's office or restaurant, watching TV, doing craftwork or in the bathroom taking a shower or a...well, you know, I'm either reading or listening to a book. The format doesn't matter, i.e. paperback, hardback, audio, e-reader. My iPod, Kindle and bookshelves are is loaded and several librarians recognize me by name. I enjoy fiction over non-fiction, although some non-fiction could almost be mistaken for fiction. My favorite genre is fantasy sci-fi, followed by mysteries, romance and then everything else, with horror being the last thing I'd ever read. I love it when there's humor because I like to laugh. I like happy endings, a bit of escapism from real life, but other types of endings can be just as good. They make you think more. Yes...I like to read.
