Here it is mid-November and no snow in the Sierra. No snow = no XC skiing and that's bad. Updated 13 Nov · 0 comments

About Me

I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the end of spring semester 2010, and I graduated with my Master's in Computer Science and Information last fall. I write, mostly short stories. I didn't do much writing while I was in school. Now I'm working full-time writing web-based applications for a consulting company in San Francisco. That was supposed to have given me more time for writing, but so far it hasn't. I remember my mom's comment: "Don't quit your day job!" I have to work to pay the bills; such is life.

Most of my stories have happy endings. I love happy endings. That's the way life should be. Most of what I've written are short stories, but I've written six serial novels and I'm currently writing one more for the 2013 NaNoWriMo.

Doug and I met when we were 12 years old in the 7th grade. We went from being friends to best friends to boyfriends to California Registered Domestic Partners, and on July 23, 2013, after it was legal to do so in California, we got married.

Chris is my adopted brother, formerly my cousin. My folks adopted him when he was kicked out of my aunt and uncle's house because he's gay. We're best friends forever, and think of each other as if we were twins. Chris is four days older and lords it over me whenever he thinks he can get away with it. That's almost never. He has a boyfriend who he's been with since our senior year in high school. We have two younger sisters, one in college and one in high school, who are smart and sassy and a lot of fun. Man, they've really grown up fast!

People tell me I smile a lot. That's because I have a lot to smile about.
