Amonsri's Thoughts - 1. Crying or Laughing

div>

Why does crying sound like laughing

When you are crying for help out of desperation

Even though you think no one can hear you?

The reason is clear, it is simply the Mocker

Hiding in the dark places, and it is he who is laughing.

He is laughing because you have thrown away all of your lifelines,

And there is no way out except through the Mocker.

He is a master of illusion, and so is his escape,

Which in reality is more of your present torment.

So you have no escape,

Or at lest that is what he wants you to think.

There is One who could help,

But you don't think He is there.

Do you?

This is why you thought NO ONE was listening,

And that NO ONE would help you.

It is also why you heard the Mocker,

And not the Fellow Crier.

Part 2

Why do havens of green and beauty exist on earth?

Each one of those spots are made by the Fellow Crier to counter balance the times and places where the Mocker is sitting in the dark corners laughing at those "in" his control.

How is it that I can't help those who are suffering in front of me or around the world?

It is because i am still letting my cries and the Mocker remain

in the dark corners of my mind

I'm not sure why, but I kept getting imagery of Native American figures in my head reading this....

Amonsri, you could find the One walking down the street, just around the next corner...you never know when, but be open to the possibility at every encounter. While there is breath, there is that chance of finding the One for yourself.

I know about the sense of isolation, having lived it through my teen years in a small farming town...it took until I moved into a larger town to finally dispel it...but they say things are easier today for young people, and I hope that is so--yet the sense of rootlessness and not-belonging still comes up. Emotions are beyond any logic found in the modern world and they respond only to other primal forces rather than reasoned examination.

The One is there...it remains only to meet him...give him time, he is searching also.

A Fellow Crier sends peace and assurances.

I wrote this one In response to a very emotional movie called " Sometimes in April" if i recall the title correctly. It was about "ethnic cleansing" in Africa. It was quite a powerful movie even if lesser know. The part this was drawn from had the main character in a old hotel pool (empty pool)Crying out because he had lost a family member (sorry i can not recall which one as i saw the movie at 3 years ago)
