Just Some Poems - 2. Corner

Laughing you look to me,

Lonely old me in the corner,

In the corner where nobody looks.

Your brown eyes soften,

Only for a moment till you realise,

Till you realise who you are looking at.

You turn your beautiful face back,

Back to your demon friends,

The demons that terrorise me.

You walk off,

Walk off without looking back,

Leaving me alone again in the corner.

In the corner where nobody looks,

The corner that is avoided,

The corner that is my sanctuary.

Excellent Poem Connor!! After looking in the corner I would ditch the demons, walk up to you and talk to you so that I may get to know you, attracted by the mysterious beauty sitting there and ask you for a date and hopefully get to know better.
