Greg’s in danger.
He’s so drunk, he won’t be able to resist if Dan tries anything. If he drinks too much, he may not even realise what’s happening!
With Dan switching to coffee, he’s going to have the perfect opportunity to do whatever he wants to Greg. He’ll be sober and Greg will be like a piece of putty.
Maybe Greg will drink enough so that he passes out? Then he’ll have to stay here. I can’t stop him from drinking, so I’m going to have to encourage him to drink more, and hope that happens instead.
