Chapter 15 Moonlight

Silvery shadows spill across shaded contours

Highlights beauty

Skin glows its welcome to a shrouded embrace

It’s you… my soul’s desire

Let’s lie in moonlight

Share hearts that beat the same rhythm

Celebrate love found, and love endured

Defy our fears

Like us, they are mortal

For a friend who inspires...

Gary this is beautiful. I've told you what I think. To me this is all that is important in life. Love and the sharing of that with our partners. People miss these moments because they are distracted by the shiny and meaningless.
I hope this if what you have with your guy. Now and always.

Hard to top what mikie said, this is wonderful.
Love is easy during bright sunshine when the world is full of life and color, and provides lots of distraction, but the test comes in the night, when all is stripped away but for the two lovers bathed in silvery caresses, and all that remains is truth and our spirits.
That is the ultimate test of love, where strength can build up for the new dawn.

CG is quite right, hard to top Tim's review. I will just parrot them in my thoughts.
As always, beautifully done Gary. :)

Thanks, Tim. Yeah, what we have is real. You are so right about what's important. I might be the truest blue guy on the planet, and I've found the same in E. I know too many who are all about the conquest, and that makes me sad. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for being who you are... cheers, my friend... Gary...

What you said was just as beautiful, CG. And so true. Thanks for the wonderful thoughts... cheers... Gary...

The beauty of love and also a reminder that it's not always so easy. It's worth it though, to share with another your entire life.

This is a beautiful poem, Gary. Love the tenderness of words that almost become the caressing moonlight itself.

Masterfully done…

I said this before, but this poem reminds me of Michael's memory of Kendall  This poem has made me realize that you have seen your own partner in this light and used that for CoTT and this poem. :) You capture the moment so beautifully, and the scene came alive for me

Thank you for this amazing poem Gary
