Jeez talk about the one family that make's Will's look functional :o. Things are going to get messy and my money is on Wade coming out on top.

(Chapter 57 Review)

I do not know who's family is more screwed up right now, Wade's or Will's...

I have to say that I suspected that Trevor was involved in this to some extent but can't say that I thought of him being the one to have beaten Mary Ellen...

(Chapter 57 Review)

Wow another great chapter!!! Samjones's comment is well put and I echo his sentiments including that I frantically check for updates when I think a new chapter is due and of course on what a great writer Mark has been and continues to be.
Now to weigh in on the Will versus Wade debate - I think there should be no debate rather we should all aplaude that we have two great narrators for this book. When I read a few Will chapters in a row I am so into him that when I see a Wade chapter I think aww; then I start reading the Wade chapter and get a second chapter like this and think oh Wade is great I am so into him. Of course it is all really based on how well Mark writes how he evolves the plot line and what magnificent schemes are unravelling for each character at that time. I am particularly enjoying having three or more chapters in a row from either Will or Wade it seems to allow for a really good flow and lets Mark really spin the story out and get you into that character. As always Mark keep up the great work and I eagerly await the next posting!

Thanks! I'm glad you like the two narrators. They are very different, and it sometimes takes some effort to switch gears.

(Chapter 57 Review)

The first thing I thought of, after JP and Wade discussed Elizabeth's plan, is the thought of Alexandria and Elizabeth being in adjoining cells. It is interesting to see Trevor dragged into the plan too. Elizabeth's one fatal flaw be may underestimating Wade. Also she doesn't understand why Wade would have allies like Trevor and his father. Wade will win because he doesn't have all the secrets to hide. Thank you. Mark for another awesome chapter!

Alexandra and Elizabeth sharing a cell...now that would be funny. I agree that her flaw may be in underestimating Wade, but she would see Trevor and Wade's father as being motivated by something besides friendship or love, and that may be even more dangerous for her.

(Chapter 57 Review)

I have been loving every chapter of Paternity! So from reading Samjones' review I believe both Wade and Will's narratives each have their own points (I prefer Will's) and i believe they will indeed cross soon.
Wade: his view gives us more insight into Elizabeth's dealings and his view/love of his baby and the baby's mom.
Will: Gives us insight on his mother's condition, Brad's breakdown/lack of control, and JJ's possible sexuality.
I believe that the narratives will cross possibly if Elizabeth fail's on getting the trust fund back she will use her power to try and gain control of Wade's son. She might do it by threatening to harm Brad (via Omega) and show that the babies live is unstable due to Will's take on the situation and Will's mother's lack of sanity.
Anyway, another great chapter.

I'm glad you're enjoying both narrators. It sometimes makes it hard to write, because I'll have my mind locked in one character and it will be time to write the other, but for the most part, it's been fun.

(Chapter 57 Review)

One would think, based on readings of the forum posts and chapter reviews, that the key question of our day is whether Will or Wade is the better narrator. However, I've realized, just this morning, that I've been reading this story for nearly a year and I still have no idea what Elizabeth Danfield is truly up to. Every time I think I do, she turns out to be even more crappy than I had previously considered her to be. That I find myself loving her antics is beside the point. :-P
I think, therefore, we must conclude that the key question here is how do you, Mark, keep me coming back for more every few days? Because I do come back for more...like everyone else, I frantically click refresh on the story page around the time that my clairvoyence determines you're going to post. I think it's a genius combination of characters, plot, skilled prose, plot, sex, and...plot. I'm sure somebody will have a witty retort to my conclusions...that's ok, though, because I know that I'm correct in this! So, in conclusion, great work Dr. Arbour (yes, now you get to be a Dr...Dr. of Plot!).

Why thank you! Elizabeth Danfield makes for a good villain, and gives me lots of fodder.

(Chapter 57 Review)

I would have never guessed it was Trevor. The scheming Elizabeth Danfield is a true manipulator. I can't wait for the next chapter.
