Jacob left Eli with more questions than answers when he turned the gun against himself.

Now Eli, quiet, docile and transparent, tries to pull back the layers surrounding his boyfriend's sudden death, and the people responsible -- accidentally finding love, losing love, and hiding in the shadows of a murder investigation.

 
Here is your trigger warning: this story involves elements of suicide, murder, cat-fishing, mentions of rape (in passing), strong and politically incorrect language (for the sake of authenticity), homosexuality (gasp!), and possibly drug or alcohol use. Also, the story includes teenagers in love and doing what teenagers do. (You know what I mean.) All normal warnings apply, as usual.
