About this story

The Truth is Out There by Myr

Zebron Wilson breaks the rules of Psionic Corp due to his insatiable curiosity and gets sent away to prevent retaliation.

The title is a nod to "The X-Files", for those that grew up with that as a cultural experience.
This story is stand alone, but the character Mike Valdius was first seen in this story, for those that like a larger backstory on a character:

Psionic Corp is an expansive universe and this is one of the stories in it. Highly recommend. I consider Psionic Corp – No Return to be a prequel to some of the characters you meet here.

This is near future earth soft sci-fi with amazing world building.

Response from the author:

drown, thanks for reading and reviewing! I'm glad you enjoyed the story and the world. :)

Once again, Myr pulls back the curtain and shows us the world he's made in the Psionic Corp Universe. If you're a fan of Myr's science fiction stories set in this universe will find an expansion that enlightens every story that came before. This story draws you in, and makes you want more in the universe than he has painted.

Response from the author:

Thanks Brayon!  I'm glad you enjoyed the story.  With each short story I write in this world, I try to add to the lore.

What would you do with a member of the Psionic Corps that learned about something using his telepathic powers and wasn't discrete enough to keep that information to himself?  Captain Mike is given that task, and rather than allowing the young man to be killed during a "training accident", but what should he do with him instead?  You'll have to read this intriguing Sci Fi story to find out the answer to this question, and as always, Myr has come up with an ingenious plan to deal with the problem.

Response from the author:

Thanks Bill! I'm glad you enjoyed the story and liked the solution.
