2011 - Spring - People Are Strange Entry

Who's In Charge - 1. Who's in Charge?

I've often heard the falling leaf, float softly to the ground;
And watched the glimmering sunshine, reflecting off the pond.
I've heard the screaming eagle, as it climbs and soars on high;
And felt the tender helplessness, you get from a baby's cry.
I've felt the breeze upon my face, and smelled the rain's approach;
It's all just there to remind me, that God is nature's coach.

Have you ever been to Colorado in the fall when the aspen trees are all gold and the leaves quake and rustle in the breeze? Your first line made me remember this experience. Thank you.

Seems a bit like William Blake to me: direct, passionate, immediate. You write really well.

Thanks. I have to confess, I haven't read William Blake. But thank you for the flowers. :)
