David Henderson's parents were splitting up, and David was off to stay for a few weeks with his favorite grandfather in the city while his mom and dad sorted out a few things. David was not happy with this abrupt change in his life, but had decided there was nothing to do but go with it. He loved visiting his grandfather, and figured he would at least spend the two-week visit having some fun.

But soon a small mystery cropped up, followed by a meeting with someone new and special. And in almost no time, David's world was to change forever.

The guys are rolling along now with their business, Third Planet Inquiries, and it looks like their future is secure. Good ol’ planet earth has a lot of strange things going on that need to be investigated! And as Halloween approaches, Kippy is hoping something will come up to occupy their attention, something creepy or spooky, in keeping with that holiday. So, when Amy gets a strange phone call, things start to get interesting, and the guys are off on another adventure, just in time for Halloween!

Summer vacation had started out well for Derry and Caleb. There was much to occupy two adventurous boys in the rural landscape in which they lived. They had the woods, and the fields, and the waterways to occupy them.

And they had each other.

But then they made a discovery - a strange place hidden in the forest, a pathway to lands beyond description. And suddenly, the summer was not quite so simple any longer.

A small wish can lead to big things. For all those that serve our nation, and must be away from us at Christmas.

Steve and Chris, who met and became close in Thrift Shop Nation, return in another tale.

Working at the thrift shop has proved to be both interesting and rewarding for the boys. The summer is nearing its end, but both want the job to go on. They have been discovering that the thrift shop is more than just a job, and that Debbi is more than just a boss.

And that life among the world of 'previously owned' items is a long way from being dull...

Charlie and the gang return to the realm of the dead to deal with the malicious spirit Lane Tallfield, first encountered in the Halloween tale, I Think This Place is Haunted, Charlie Boone! Their own Christmas spirit has been placed on hold in the hopes that they can corral the ex-lawman and keep him from causing even more trouble for their alien friends. It's not something Charlie would rather be dealing with at Christmas time, but he knows that putting off the next confrontation might be dangerous in more ways than one!

This tale is a follow-up to I Think This Place is Haunted, Charlie Boone! You really should read that one first!

It's 1948. Teens Frank and Joe Dane, sons of nationally famous private detective Ben Dane, are enjoying their summer vacation. An homage to the Hardy Boys adventures that some of us read as kids, except that in this one, the boys are...um, well...you'll see.
