Patient, Kind, and True.

No other friend in all the world

will be the same to you.

When other friends forsake you,

to Mother you will return.

As we look upon her picture,

Sweet memories we recall.

Of a face so full of sunshine

and a smile for one and all.

Sweet Jesus, take this message,

to our dear Mother up above.

Tell her how we miss her

and give her all our love.

We can shed tears that she is gone

or we can smile because she has lived.

We can close our eyes and pray that she'll come back

or we can open our eyes and see all she left.

Our hearts can be empty because we can't see her

or we can be happy for tomorrow, because of yesterday.

We can remember her only that she's gone

or we can cherish her memory and let it live on.

We can cry and close our minds, be empty, and turn our backs

or we can do what she'd want.
