Happy Friday, Y'all!!!!! Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend, I know I am! To help start your weekend off right, it's time for some new prompts. Hopefully one of these great prompts will inspire you, and don't forget to share your responses (at least a link) so that they can possibly be featured next week. Also, as always, remember that prompt responses under 1K have to be posted as part of a collection.

Prompt 508 -Creative
Tag – List of Words
Use the following in a story – a blue coat, a large animal, a crutch, a new house, and an evergreen tree.

Prompt 509 – Creative
Tag – The Tire
Your were called away for a business trip to the middle of nowhere. On the way home you blew a tire. When you go for your spare you remember you were going to get it fixed, but you forgot. You call the auto club and they send out a repair truck to help you. When it arrives you find yourself facing someone from your past. Who is it and what happens?

For this week, I decided to feature the responses from Prompt #506:


I waited for the nurse to leave the room before turning to glare at Jack. I grabbed him by the arm, pulled him out of the room and down the hall to one of the ward offices. I pushed Jack inside, probably more roughly than I should have, closed, and locked the door.

 

I wheeled around and hissed at him, “What the fuck are you doing?

 

My words hit him and he sat on the desk, his ass rocking the dirty plate someone had left behind.

 

His icy-blue eyes considered me. “What?”

“He didn’t,” Brian uttered in disbelief, his mouth wide open.

 

“She’s still alive?” CE asked the question more important to him.

 

“Do we need to move?” Sam voiced his concern.

 

Prime smiled self-congratulatory. “He did. – She is. – And: No,” he replied telegram-style looking at each of the wolves for ‘their’ answer. “But you should have seen him. He had no fear from that half-dead. He was cold as an ice queen when he threatened: ‘Unless you leave us in peace, your orifice will be the biggest bomb site West of the Rockies …’”
