Wow... so many stories from a nice variety of authors.  I know I've read Viv's, and highly recommend all her stories.  I'll have to check the rest out if I ever get time to read.

I just reread Graeme's story, The Rainy Day, and I hope to get to more.  I think posting these 'flashbacks' like this is a great idea. :)

C. James' Requiem is a powerful, moving product of the writer's art. Short, but packs a mighty punch.

I agree @northie.  I just read Requiem, and it is as you say. Ten years later this eloquent piece is still timely, it's commentary on the political system sadly accurate. It's never too late....

A great time to Review the story folks.  Read and Review.  Encourage the authors to write more... or come back in some cases.

(also a great time for authors still around to let us know the description and the tags so we can update the story) @Graeme

Like you, just read C.James story. For me because of Northie's comment here.

Agree with both of you. Well written how in too many parts of this world politics/politicians work. Especially if you can be reelecte again and again.

Thanks for bringing the older Anthologies back here. I usually reed the longer stories here, but I think I have to search also for 'gems' in the 1 chapter stories ! :*)

And now I’ve also added my 2 cents based on the comments here. Thank you.

Will get to the others for sure.

LOL. I'm not good with subtle hints. Sledgehammers are much more effective... :sheep:
