Um... last I checked we were in February, not November... Guess you're too busy trying to steal my shiny in Last Post Wins :gikkle: @wildone  And you featured last week's blog from Comicality ;)

You didn't feature Cia's successful Forbidden Love Challenge, either. :,(  @Cia deserves a lot of credit for setting it up.  But of course, most of the stories are featured, so that helps.

Which is a shame, since the one from this week is about sex in stories. :P On the other hand, @VampireMystic has recently left the most hilarious comment on the old one, had me

Don't forget The Cockney Canuck by whatshisname?

Only promoted authors get their stories mentioned, but there's nothing wrong with a bit of self-promotion. ;)  especially a story already over 555,555 words.

Oooooops! I wondered why it's never been mentioned. I thought that the staff had it in for me. Never mind, it picks up a few views here and there.

Well, staff does have it in for you, but that's neither here nor there.

To you and to @northie : Don't worry too much about the promotions. Yes there are some perks attached to it but when it comes down to it, readers will pay more attention to the quality of a story than to any title appended to the author's name. And you can handle the extra promotion yourself. I've plugged some of my stories in short prompt responses. Post a picture related to your tale. Write a personal blog about your writing experience. It's hard to gauge what works but I think the reaction your stories receive (both of you) shows you have a good product out there.

I thank you for the mention.  I thought it an apt illustration of the point I was trying to make.

And an opportunity. ^.^  it felt like irony to me, but I'm not sure it really qualified. And it got me my first  when the post gets an orange banner with a heart on it thing, so, cool!

Thanks again.
