I Am Number Four is an interesting book.  Human looking aliens are amongst us and they are being hunted by some really bad aliens.  It's quite the romp and an enjoyable book.  It's the first in a whole series that has a follow up in the pipeline as well.  I enjoyed it and I really need to spend some time to finish reading the whole series.  Check it out!

I watched the movie, but I've never read the book series. I might need to look if the library has them on OverDrive.

I saw the movie as well, and I was hoping for more. It felt incomplete. Maybe the books are a better option... they often are. :)

The only time, I've found where the Movies were better than the book was Peter Jackson's Lord of the Ring, and The Hobbit trilogies.

Agreed... except I'd also add Harry Potter and the Order the Phoenix.  I HATED that book.  I threw it across the room twice when I read it and I haven't read it since.

I enjoyed both the book and movie for "I Am Number Four", but the series went downhill fast afterwards. We persisted for awhile (my son and I), but we both eventually gave up before we bought the final couple of books in the series. It became too extreme, too fast. It may have made logical sense, as to what was happening, but it wasn't enjoyable to read.
